More of an epoxy glue…. Hopefully bad batch

Kinda like the glue gel that comes off some large cardboard packaging that you can roll into a ball with your fingers. . Had to really squeeze hard to get anything to come out. Using a plastic card type applicator would not even spread the paste out. Cleaned it off with 99% isopropyl alcohol and just ended up using a 2 year old tube of Corsair XTM50 I purchased in 2022 for my h150i Elite LCD AIO install. Old tube worked great and the card application method went smooth. Hopefully I just received a bad tube or one that was stored incorrectly during shipment to store.

Unfortunately I've tried all their thermal paste and its pretty darn bad stuff. I definitely don't recommend it unless your in a real pinch.

Dried out clay like useless paste

The previous purchase was the XTM50. Now this XTM70. What came out of the tube does not seem liquid and does not spread at all. I ended up purchasing some Noctua thermal paste on Amazon which was actually usable and made a world of difference to my temps. I like Corsair but I've learned to steer clear of some of their products: Thermal paste and the iCue software.

Good thermal, bad buy in the moment

Idk if it was meant to be like that or i got a bad one but it didnt work too well but with some effort and a lot of smearing i got it to work, down to the last drop

Didn't work for me. Probably a bad batch of paste.

The temperatures were never stable. Never got under 40°C and would spike upto 55-60°C on idle, but the fans would bring it back down quick. I removed the AIO, the paste looked dried out, hard to explain. I'm pretty sure it was a bad batch.
