I bought this for my adult daughter when she was really sick and it worked great. I read online about putting in some essential oils to help her breathe better and it worked with no problem. She recently went off to college and I decided to move it to use in another room and saw the blue container cracked and now useless. I asked her what happened and she said she did nothing different and hadn't even used it in the past couple of weeks since feeling better. I emailed the company with pictures and they sent a reply asking if I used essential oils. I have not replied yet but after further reading I see it is not recommended in this product and I feel I might be out the money I paid after only using this a few times. The packaging should be VERY clear to not do this or they should improve the design to allow for oils to be added for medicinal or theraputic purposes. I feel I am an intelligent person and if I felt it was OK to add oils after doing some research online I am sure there are many others that have done so as well and most likley ended up with the same result. I do hope Crane will replace the container at no charge and it will be a lesson learned for me.

So far so good. Only complaint is that when I re-fill the reservoir water drips from the bottom.

my little one suffers with really bad allergies and has a really hard time sleeping. with this humidifier he does so much better during nap time and at night to sleep. no more nose bleeds and dry nose clogs when he wakes up.

Works as advertised, nothing special, gets build up fast.

We purchased this to help us sleep better since allergies have been so bad. It does help, but gets the entire area around soaking wet.

This purchase was to replace a similar item. It's an updated version and works very well.

It does what it is supposed to do. Works great for my daughter. Would give it 5 stars. But not excited about the look.

I purchased this item because I was waking up in the mornings with a very dry nose and not feeling really good, after the first night the difference is noticeable. Very happy with the results. I definitely recommend it.

I liked design, However he decided he didn't want it and it was returned. I would have kept it for myself but had purchased 2 .

I bought this item to replace our previous one that stopped working. Make sure to follow the cleaning instructions otherwise you will see mold and then it will stop working. Used in nursery.

Bought this to try it out, works pretty good and keeps my bedrooms humidity. Don't know much about these but wife liked it.

works like a charm. I am rating this with 4* just because of the low intensity noise that is a little irritating at times.

Setup was straightforward. Maintenance is super easy. It would be five stars if it were easier to empty and refill.

Less maintenance and run at least 2 days before refilling with moderate high outflow. Best value with BF deal price :)

Works well, easy to fill and clean. Sorry I did not get a bigger one. They last longer before having to refill.

This humidifier keeps things humid. The air is the opposite of dry in the surrounding area I place it.

I have used several other humidifiers for my daughter but have found this to be the best yet. The fact that there are no filters was the determine factor for my purchase.

Its a good product. Be careful while handling. Its a little delicate.

Bought this for a friend who is going to have a baby coming soon. I heard they are good for them.
