    Not quite "silent" as the marketing would suggest. There is a loud whine that gets louder when you LOWER the intensity of the humidifier. Makes no sense but I had to return it. It did help with the static electricity however

    This humidifer soaked everything within a few feet of it, even the carpet. It's cute, but total junk. Do not waste your time buying this one. We bought the Crane Drop humidifer instead and it is wonderful!
