Terrific Romantic Comedy--Asian Style

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Crazy Rich Asians" is a terrific rom-com that touches lightly on all the genre tropes: we get an attractive couple (Constance Wu and Henry Golding) who belong together but are threatened by forces (in this case, familial, in the person of Golding's domineering mother, played by Michelle Yeoh) that work to keep them apart; funny and quirky supporting characters (Led by Awkwafina and Ronny Chieng) who show up just before things get heavy; and a setting (Singapore) that makes for interesting and fresh locale. It's hard not to like this one.
