I LOVE this movie. Although the plot has been done many times over, everything came together in a fresh way. The cast played well against each other as well. There was a wonderful representation of the culture, location and story telling. It’s definitely worth seeing and then seeing again

2019-12-06 22:02 Did not get to see movie in theater, so bought Dvd. Dvd "freezes" first time I watch it. Very frustrating.

My Asian wife's favorite movie; I had no choice. Happy wife; happy life. Although it was purchase 2 years ago & gets played way too often, the picture & sound is as good as it was the first time it was played.

This movie did not disappoint. Saw it in theaters and just had to own a copy of it. It’s heartfelt, fierce women, independent men, passive aggressive parents, and much more were played very well by this entire cast. Be ready to laugh out loud but also shed a tear or two.

Loved this movie. Only a couple of rom-coms do I rate as worth the re-watch, and this is certainly one of them. Great acting, hilarious scenes and a serious desire to visit Singapore. Especially since people I know say it was as great as in the movie.

I'm originally from Singapore and when I heard this movie was being made, I had very low expectations. Watching it opening weekend, my family loved it so much we watched it 3 more times in the theatre. Now we have our own copy we can watch over and over. Definitely recommend if you like romantic comedies!

I bet I've seen this 10 times, but this was a great surprise present. I love this movie. Great comedy and a great story to show that family doesn't define your life.

Love the movie and no prob with the discs. At that time I could only watch on my computer. My blue ray is now reconnected, so I will try it there the next time I want to watch it.

Bought it for my wife, she loves it. It's Blu-ray not 4k/uhd so that part performs as expected. It's not an action movie so I can't comment on audio quality.

Much will be said of “Crazy Rich Asians”’ importance - in terms of it’s cast and director being Asian. But beyond all that, it’s a genuinely good film. It’s romantic and often very funny. This cast is amazing and super charming. It’s easy to fall in love with “Crazy Rich Asians”.

Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present as it is one of her favorite movies. No other place had it for sell, and I’m so glad I found it through Best Buy. It made her very happy to open it Christmas Day.

An impressive movie with an all Asian cast that is fun to watch and says loads about the multi-generational nature of cultures. Even though it is gorgeous to look at the underlying emotional nature of the story make it more that just a pretty picture. The young actors have gone on to other main stream and independent films since this impressive start. But it is hard to live up to this impressive start.

This is not your typical romcom. The characters are engaging, and the message that discipline and doing the right thing are more important than doing what you want is a message that more people could stand to take to heart.

Has become one another favorite of my movie collections. When I first watched this last year, I knew that I had to add to my movie collection. I finally purchased it this year, and even my mom loved the movie and my husband too.

Absolutely great movie. I love I finally get to live out my fantasy about being a film critic. It’s a funny movie with heart and soul. Prepare yourself for all the feels, including tears of joy, laughter, anger and rage.

It’s been a long time since a movie with an all Asian cast hit the main stream and hopefully the success of this one will encourage many more. Great love story. The wedding scene is one of the most romantic I’ve ever seen.

I loved seeing Singapore! The story was amazing how wealthy the family was and all the experiences yet the main characters were solid nice people!

Well, I thought it would be silly and a little bit campy, but I have to admit that it was way better than the fluff that I originally anticipated. Not a great movie, but certainly worth the watch.

Really enjoyed this movie, and with the locations they went to for this movie were just beautiful!! I loved the humor, the romance of it, and the sound track too was just great! The wedding scene was just gorgeous, loved it. Only thing that really was off the wall was the wealth of all these people, it seemed a bit of an over kill, unreal.

I was "dragged" to see this in the theaters and really enjoyed it. I have some wealthy asian relatives, but not to this extreme. lol. This is fun, bright film and gives you a taste of a foreign culture... well the "wealthy, crazy side" of that culture. I got this for a friend who does not have a 4K player or set so BLURAY was perfect. However, I would buy this myself on 4K just to truly appreciate the visuals from the theater.
