Finally watched this before the second one and it exceeded my expectations. Great PQ/AQ also!

The is a worthy entry into the "Rocky" franchise. The film also looks stunning on 4k UHD disc.

Great addition to the franchise!! Sly does an amazing job keeping the Rocky franchise fresh by developing a spin-off character - Adonis Creed. Fans of the Rocky franchise won't be disappointed. The inspirational music, training montages, and a great finale are included. What I liked most is Rocky now plays the father-figure "Mickey" role to Adonis. Call it "completing the circle" or "passing the baton." Of course the movie has lots of heart. Be warned, there are some tear-jerking moments in this movie.

This movie is amazing. Point blank. In my opinion. Anyone can pop it in and enjoy the movie as it is. Anyone with cultural knowledge of the Rocky movies can enjoy it but for me that I made sure to watch all the previous Rocky movies before watching Creed it only enhanced my experience. Seeing and remembering all the history the character of Rocky has gone through and seeing his state now meeting Apollo Creed's son is a great dynamic. Great acting from top to bottom. Music choices perfect. Picked the perfect spots to play the original Rocky theme during the movie. Stallone deserved the best supporting actor nomination and could've won it. I couldn't recommend it enough. Must watch

A return nostalgia to old rocky films! Great way to rejuvenate the franchise

I wasn't expecting much from Creed, but I was surprised at how good it was. For the most part, the story follows a pretty basic formula that we've seen a few times in other Rocky movies, but it's still done well here. The fight scenes are very well done. There's an exciting single take fight that had me on the edge of my seat. The final fight puts you right in the middle of the action. Sound and picture are excellent. I wish there were more extras, but there is a 15 minute interview segment that was OK. The deleted scenes are just OK. I would have liked to see the trophy room scene in the movie. There's also a 6 minute clip of how the main actor got into fighting shape.

I really like where they took the Rocky series. I can't wait till the 2nd

Good follow-up to the Rocky films with fine performance by Stallone.

Thought it would be the same old rocky story line but was a very good story.

Better than I expected and any reason to hear Rocky give his two cents.
