I was excited to see one of the best films of 2015 released on the brand new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. The $29.99 price tag is a bit steep, but it's worth every penny in my opinion if you LOVE this film like we do. Things are razor sharp. The audio however, is the same surround track that you will find on the regular 1080p Blu-ray version. First off, Sylvester Stallone turns in one heck of an impressive performance as an aging Rocky Balboa, he definitely got robbed by not winning for Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards. Then again, both Ryan Coogler (director) and Michael B. Jordan (actor) should have been nominated as well, but it didn't happen :( Very emotional moments and just a very solid movie from start to finish. I can only hope we will see more "Creed" movies!!!!

As a long time fan of the Rocky series, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of a semi spin off starring a new actor as Apollo Creed's son from an extramarital affair. I'm happy to admit that I was totally wrong. In particular, credit is due to the director, who sold Stallone on his vision, Michael B. Jordan for making the Creed character come to life in an interesting way, and to Stallone himself, for delivering an outstanding acting performance.

I am a big fan of Ryan Coogler and also Michael B Jordan from Fruitvale and also Chronicle. these two are amazing, especially together and after seeing Black Panther I wanted to fill the gap in my collection. I was not disappointed, great film well acted. I am a little scared about the sequel, Stallone wants to bring back all the old Rocky people to make Creed 2 which sounds like a expendable Rocky film.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this installment of the Rocky series, but I had high hopes because of Michael B. Jordan and Stallone. Especially because of the angle the movie was geared by. I loved it! It brought the entire Rocky series (events, characters, etc.) full circle. You may have to watch it again to catch all of the nods to past films, and previous characters making reappearances. If this was the last Rocky movie ever, it would be a superb send-off. Highly recommended for good drama and lots of Rocky nostalgia. And even if you've never seen a Rocky film before, you can enjoy it as just a wonderful film.

Some people might be jaded by the fact that there is yet another 'Rocky' movie (despite titling it Creed). The basic composition of this movie and its story certainly harken back to the Rocky franchise but that should not discredit the movie itself. After 6 Rocky movies, I still find this formula entertaining and inspiring. Rocky's legacy is one of undeniable strength and undying hope... you can't go wrong with that.

If you enjoy the Rocky series, you'll enjoy this movie. Same up and coming boxer training for the fight of his life and during in the final round he loses to a split decision.

Featuring Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Johnson, the son of Apollo Creed who wants to be as famous as his father, but not compared to him. He wants to stand (or box in this case) on his own merits. Then we have Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) helping Adonis like Mickey once did for him. From the opening scene you are captivated and held hostage to an exhilarating and engrossing movie. The fight choreography, and overall cinematography pull you right in on a visceral level. I do not understand how Michael B. Jordan was not nominated for a Golden Globes or Academy award for his performance.

What great fun! The Rocky series was something different for everyone that enjoyed it. Everyone has their own favorite title bout and many a conversation gets started over which was your favorite Rocky movie. This one held true, great show. "Now that's what I'm talkin' about" Priceless!

This is an excellent movie about a boy, a natural fighter who needed to come into his own and needs a way to do it. The fact that the character is Apollo Creed's son from the Rocky movies just adds icing. He deals with realizing who he is as a natural fighter, struggles with being Apollo's son, and while seeking the the help of Rocky Balboa, ends up giving Rocky a new purpose to fight. Awesome movie, highly recommended!

I thought another Rocky movie would be a disaster but, as the title suggests, this movie is not exactly about Rocky. It's a new story with a new star and YES, it has the spirit of the old classics. I think Creed is the #2 best film of the year right behind The Martian. Stallone I think may get an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. I also expect Best Picture and Best Director nominations. They hit a HR with this one.

Even if you never watched a Rocky movie before, you will love this movie! It is a standalone movie and not a continuation from Rocky as you don't need that history to jump in it and follow from beginning to end. It was a good family movie with a great message. It kept us on the edge of our seats and made us laugh, cry and cheer! It was about fear, anger, handicaps and the will to fight through it all. Great movie!

A fantastic film that continues the Rocky franchise in a new but still familiar way. Many complained that Star Wars The Force Awakens was too similar to A New Hope. Some could have the same complaint here as this film is very similar to the first Rocky film. I can understand that, but I think its different enough and does stand on its own, while opening the door to a potentially great sequels.

The story lines will never change for a boxing movie on how things come about but the action should be more believable like in the real boxing world. Overall it entertained

This is a nice way of introducing a new character to take the Rocky inspired mantle for boxing films Stallone's role isn't forced or a awkward it's perfect as a mentor a lil comic relief & emotional value making this a really good film allowing future films with Apollo Creed's son as the lead great transitional film that utilized the Rocky formula with a fresh new character and plays homage to the orginals

CREED is the surprise ROCKY follow up that turns out to be every bit as entertaining and uplifting. Sylvester Stallone delivers another Knockout performance as Rocky, this time serving as trainer for Apollo Creed's son. This movie is a great time from beginning to end with tons of replay value. I'm hoping for a great sequel to this movie! Video and audio quality on this Blu Ray are fantastic.

If you're a fan of the Rocky (Balboa) movies, you'll love this! Even if you're not a fan, I'm sure you'll really like it. I found myself surprised by how good it is! From the acting stand point to story, etc, it was great! After watching it in theaters, I knew I was going to purchase this movie. It also hits you in the feels if you've seen the Rocky movies, when you watch it, you'll understand.

Any fan that grew up on the Rocky movies will absolutely love this movie! Even though Sylvester Stallone was nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor, Michael B. Jordan should have been nominated for leading actor. I must say, I am a little partial to the city of Philly, but it is one of the best, most underated films of 2015 by far. It is one of those Jawns! (People in Philly will get that)

This is a great movie for fans of the original Rocky series, as well as for any newcomers. I'm sure mostly everyone is familiar with the Rocky character. This film brings him into 2016, where he's running his restaurant, and not having anything to do with boxing any longer. I don't want to give anything away for folks that haven't seen this film yet. A great story line for everyone.

Creed along with The Force Awakens, in my opinion, are amazing signs of the times. Both films are examples of a next generation of directors who grew up on the original franchise who continued the tradition and pay a lovely homage that we audiences get to enjoy. Creed is a worthy companion to the Rocky Series and the continuous take fight scene is worth more than the price of admission.
