After watching this movie I realized why Sylvester Stallone was nominated for an award...he was really good in this movie. Glad to see the Rocky series branch out in this direction. The main character played by Michael Jordan used to be on a soap opera that I watched a few years ago and boy did he change alot. Got muscles and is all grown up, can't wait to see the next one...good job!

I initially did not want to see the movie, as the last couple Rocky movies weren't very good, but was told by family and friends it was a great movie. I didn't see it in the theater and my husband is a Rocky fan, so I purchased it. I must agree, it was a great surprise. I really enjoyed the movie. Good story line and the actors were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this movie.

As someone who saw the original in theaters, I thought this movie was fantastic. It hit all the right notes of the original. Paid homage to all of the characters in real connective ways while moving the story forward and passing the role to young Michael B. Jordan. Effectively rebooting the franchise while still keeping it's rich history intact. Gets even better on repeat viewings.

Who would've thought that a movie about Apollo Creed's son would be such a powerhouse? The premise alone sounds like a horrible Hollywood rehash, but this is a quality movie, comprised of great emotion, great themes and super performances. One of the best movies of 2015. One of the great performances by Sly Stallone. A great blu-ray destined for repeat viewings.

Somehow someway Rocky continues to live on in the movies. Rock now lives in New York & owns a nice little italian restaurant. He is happy & content with life. He has very little to do with boxing anymore? In walks Apollo Creed`s son...who would have ever thought? Was there ever any doubt that Rock would train him? Michael B. Jordan plays a great role as Apollo`s son. Sylvester, well he can still play that Rocky-type role. Even though Rocky`s new training partner loses...its still a classic movie in the Rocky series. Will there be another??

Sly has done it again. A heartfelt film for families (barring a few profanities) with passion and seeds planted for a future franchise if they agree to so-do it. The acting was good and I truly enjoyed the references to the old with an update with the new. Tessa Thompson was good and could possibly be a modern day Adrian. Where is Clubber Lang or Clubber Lang Jr? Buy this fast!

I was not fortunate enough to catch Creed in the movie theater but saw it as soon as it was released on blu ray. I thought it was a great movie and did the Rocky franchise justice. It was great to see the champ fall in to the trainer role since he was considerably older. The story kept me interested and had me rooting for Creed and Rocky as they battled their unfortunate circumstances. Definitely fits with the Rocky series and for me it's always nice to see my hometown of Philly as the backdrop for a movie! I highly recommend this movie!

Wow! Talk about making a spinoff movie that stands on its own two legs! The Rocky movie franchise was something that really shouldn't have happened, but clearly, Stallone created such a charming character and it's no wonder we kept getting more movies with him. Some good, others terrible. But Creed is just spectacular. Right up there with the original Rocky, and Rocky Balboa!

I loved the Rocky franchise since I was a child so I may be biased here, but Ryan Coogler and team did an excellent job of continuing the legacy of the Underdog in this great underrated film. I agree that Stallone shouldn't have won the Oscar, but he definitely shines in this film with some of the best acting yet. Authentic writing to the characters and times we live in.

The story was about a fighters son who wanted to make a name for himself. Along the journey he learned what character was about, therefore he was willing think about more then himself. They both taught each other character traits and in the end the young fighter had the will and the skill to go the distance. This also I believed saved Rocky's life, giving him purpose.

Wow. Did not think I'd enjoy this as much as I did. Perhaps the best film in the rocky universe since Rocky 3. This film delivers a great performence from Michael B Jordan and Stallone connects with his 2nd Oscar nominated turn as Rocky Balboa. This film works as a sequel as well as a new opening chapter in a new yet continuing saga. Great job from director Ryan Coogler.

A great rocky movie that doesn't have rocky as the main protagonist. It felt like the original rocky. The underdog that is given a chance to make a name for himself. I enjoy the underlying struggle between who he could be and who he should be. He had the pave his own way and get out of his father's shadow. Hope to see a sequel. Michael B Jordan is Apollo Creed.

I saw this movie in theaters and I instantly loved it! I'd also seen the rest of the Rocky franchise earlier and I feel that this movie fit perfectly into the series, and was even better than some previous entries. I aboslutely appreciated Michael B. Jordan's performance, Tessa Thompson was beautiful, and Sylvester Stallone did a great reprisal as Rocky!

Even champions get older. Rocky gets stirred out of late-life complacence by the new kid with a close tie to Rocky's past. It has all the great components of the Rocky movies without overkill, but the real focus is on handling the past while moving toward the future. What makes you get up in the morning, slog through each day, and strive for something.

Rocky continues...for the next generation! This film is crafted with heart and passion for all the best elements that make for a great Rocky film. It is a testament to the Rocky series that 7 films in it can still turn out an exceptionally good story that, even if familiar, never seems to get old. Buy with confidence. This is movie you'll watch again and again.

I know many people dislike Stallone & don't think much of his acting skills. However, he plays the parts that suit him & does a believable job of it. I enjoy the characters, the story line, the message of hope & friendship. Simple plots & predictable outcomes? Yeah, maybe, but overall I find myself involved in the stories. In my opinion; keep 'em coming Sly!

It was a good idea for the follow up Rocky movies, but it took too long to grab my attention. I felt the story line could have and should have been more gripping. Just not enough character development for me to really fall in love with the characters, much less feel connected in their struggles or their lives. I'm glad I bought it as I am a great fan of Rocky Balboa and it does give a credible and reasonable follow up to that characters life after fighting. Spoiler alert: I can see they plan on making a Creed II.

This is a great film in the Rocky franchise. When I first heard that they were planning on doing a soft reboot, I was not too sure how it would play out. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this movie. Hits better than the previous installment.

If you loved the Rocky movies then this will be a special treat. I have not seen this movie yet. But I heard so many amazing things surrounding it. I had to purchase the Blu ray & I used one of my rewards to get this movie for $9.99. In my opinion, this is a awesome deal for a new film that received so much praise. This movie is a must buy period.
