I went into this expecting a horror movie, but it is more of a life story that happens to have ghosts. I still loved it. Great pictures, and the sound really sets the mood.

I don’t usually purchase this type of movie, but it turned out to be better than I expected.

After reading reviews, I didn't expect much from this film, but upon watching it, I found it quite enjoyable and the sets, decorations, and costumes were amazingly detailed and top notch. I don't know if it was nominated for an Oscar for production design and wardrobe, but it should have been. Good audio and video on the blu-ray.

I was hesitant to see this movie in theaters but glad I did. Guillermo del Toro has done another great film. The features are great and the movie is awesome.

Solid performances and production values makes this film worthy of watching and owning IMO.

Guillermo del Toro wrote and directed this amazing and unique horror movie with classic gothic themes and amazing visuals. A must see for fans of old gothic horror movies.

Guillermo Del Toro is a visionary. There's some issues with the plot and pacing, but this movie is a love letter to 70's horror haunted house movies. Great!

More of a gothic romance than horror. the actors were all great in their roles. The cinematography is very hauntingly beautiful as expected from a Guillermo Del Toro film.

If you've enjoyed Guillermo del Toro's other films, such as Pan's Labyrinth or The Devil's Backbone, you will definitely enjoy this one. A sumptuously produced ghost story.

Originally I wanted to see it for Tom Hiddleston (who wouldn't;)) but overall the movie was amazing and beautiful. The cast was amazing and the story was great! Loved it <3
