    Beginning was long and drawn out and there was hardly anything scary. Maybe one or two good jump scares. So no good if you're looking to be scared. However the main story line gets ...weird. Really weird. And the ending was kind of a let down. My suggestion is rent it before buying.

    The trailer paints this as a horror film which is only somewhat true. In reality this is a romance movie, and a poor one at that. If you came to see horror you won't find much, the trailer showed you all there is to see. I found this movie to be a massive disappointment.

    Great usual Del Toro flair, but this movie missed the mark for me. It was an impulsive blind when it was on sale for $10. Would not recommend the same to other Del Toro fans. Rent before buying.
