My new favorite Crock-Pot

On the first day I got it I was able to cook a 6-pound whole chicken in there perfectly with crispy skin in about 6 hours. I like the fact that there is a timer on this unit and its programmable. It definitely makes leaving it on while you're away much easier. The buttons are large and clean, very user friendly, and little to no effort. I think my favorite feature is being able to use the carry away feature. I can see it coming in handy when transporting the Crock-pot for gatherings, or work functions in the future. What's even better is the licking feature. Not having any spillage, in the kitchen and on the go will be great. There's nothing worse than transporting a cooker like this with small handles, and the fear of it spilling all over your car. This is a great Crockpot that I see myself having for years to come.

Crock pots have come a long way

You can put something in it in the morning and set it to start when you want and when you get home at night dinner is ready. If you are running late it automatically switches to warm after the set cooking time has been reached. This matte black finish is nice and easy to clean. Being able to latch the cover on makes it easy to take somewhere without the fear of spilling something. We tried the lemon herb roasted chicken recipe in the guide and it turned out fantastic. Cleans up easily although the crock is a little big in our dishwasher. Handles seem to be attached well and sturdy as that has been a problem with our older crock pots and usually why they have had to be retired as the handles come loose. We have had Crockpot brand in the past and have been satisfied. Would recommend
