Crockpot
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ued it four times had to buy a different brand. This has a loose dish that didn’t keep food warm. Or heat correctly. The timer is a pain to program. It had scraps on the underside.

Great when you don’t have time.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t had a Crock Pot for years and didn’t know I was missing it until now! Since going back to work dinner is the last thing I want to deal with when I get home. Now I can put a meal together in the Crock Pot and enjoy when I get home. There are so many great recipes I can’t wait to try! I love the locking lid to be able to transport meals to family gatherings. I haven’t used the feature yet for transporting the Crock Pot, but have locked down the lid for storing the unit. Clean up has been great! I use Dawn power wash, let it sit for a few minutes, scrub with a brush and it’s clean! Happy to have a Crock Pot back in the kitchen!! This is a well made product and am having fun using it.

Great upgrade to my crock pot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd had my first crock pot for going on a decade so the normal enamel wear and generally worn condition applied. It wasn't something I brought to pot lucks with much gusto but it got the job done and it makes a delicious roast. Enter the new one and I wonder what took me so long to upgrade. The ability to set timers for the cook process is amazing as I'd either try to time coming home to start it or err towards meals that had cook times that would let me run home at lunch to start it. The preset timers all fit in with the standard recipes I looked at when reading the instructions for the crock pot so you're pretty well served. The addition of the latch is pretty amazing too. Needless to say I don't mind hauling my crock pot up to work anymore or at least I won't when that's a thing again!

Large crockpot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a well built crockpot that is large this is the one for you. The cover has a rubber seal and also clamps that keep the cover tightly on. The controls work great and programming it wasn't hard at all. We plan on using this for large cooks and still use the smaller one for smaller dinners. We tried a pot roast and it seemed a little warmer but we have run into this with other pots and it was because it wasn't full. Like that the ceramic pot can be removed to be cleaned.

Does one thing and does it well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s been a long time since we’ve updated our Crockpot. This one provides the right mix of easy to use features combined with the tried and true Crockpot formula. The removable stoneware insert has plenty of room for preparing family-sized meals, and we loved the locking glass lid. My family loves to laugh about “the beanie w**nie debacle” when a Crockpot turned over in my car, so I’m thrilled to have a locking lid that should reduce the chance of such a disaster happening. Perhaps the thing that excited me the most about this new Crockpot is the ability to program a time setting. It’s even better because they made it so simple to use. You simply choose high or low temperature and either 4 or 6 hours (High) or 8 or 10 hours (Low). That’s it. After the specified period of time it switches to “keep warm” and you come home to a nice warm, not burnt dinner! It really couldn’t be any simpler. The locking lid kept the steam locked in and cooked our food just right. Cleanup is easy, and we were even happy about the addition of rubber coated feet on the bottom of the base. Maybe that shows how old our previous model was! You can’t go wrong with a Crockpot, and I think every home should have one. This is the perfect replacement for our old version, and if this works as well as that one did, it’ll be many more years before we need another!

Excellent Slow Cooker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Crock-Pot slow cooker is rather awesome! I especially like the capability to lock the lid down for those times I might want to cook something at home and bring it in the cooker to work or a party and not have the contents spill all over the floor of my car. The functions are fairly straight forward. Select your cook time which determines whether it'll cook with high or low heat. Put the lid on and let it cook. The six quart capacity is more than enough for a good sized chuck roast with plenty of potatoes and other veg. I'm looking forward to slow cooking a good batch of slow cooker chilli this coming weekend. My only two complaints are minor. The power cord is way too short for my taste and the build quality of the outer shell feels a bit flimsy. Overall I am more than happy having this slow cooker in my kitchen inventory.

Very basic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as the keypad of my 12 yo slow cooker was really starting to have problems. I wanted programmable and Crockpot is an established name. If you want a crockpot that you can set to a basic temperature with basic set times, this will work for you. If you want one where you can set specific times, this won't do the job. There are only two set times for each temperature. They are the basic times but if you are like me and have tailored recipes, you will still need to set timers. It also either takes longer to heat up or isn't as hot as it took two hours longer on high to cook beef stew than in my old slow cooker. The kids didn't mind as they got Burger King out of it. This surprised me as my 8 quart and rectangle Crockpots heat wonderfully. Perhaps it just doesn't like my stew? I'll see how it likes a pork loin next. The locks work. They don't have as tight a seal as I would like but they do the job. Overall I feel it would be okay for basic crock pot cooking and using it for pot lucks but if you play with your recipes which change cooking times, you may want to research further.

love this crock pot!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't own a crock pot you need one and this is a great one. Plenty big to make a big family meal with some leftovers or prepare your meals for the week. I'm two football Sundays in to using this and have made a wonderful lasagna that may be better than my moms and a buffalo chicken dip that makes my mouth water just typing this. The chicken pieces just fall apart after cooking for a bit for the perfect shreds. It is very easy to program, easy to carry if you want to bring a warm meal to family for the holiday or into work for a party. Just start your meal earlier in the day, set it, and in a few hours you have a delicious meal. It comes with some ideas for meals and there are tons on the internet. Highly recommend especially with the holidays coming.

Great Simple Slow Cooker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great appliance for what it is: a simple, portable slow cooker. Works great! It has limited programming capabilities (high or low, and with preset durations and no ability to customize timing). Lid lock works great and would be awesome for taking to potlucks or game days!

Excellent middle of the road travel crockpot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this does not have more than high/low and warm settings, the thing that makes it a winner is the travel lid. Once you engage the latches the silicone seal prevents spills and sloshes. I would recommend for a travel capable crock pot.

Used it twice workes great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far we used twice and it really performed well. Both times the meats were cooked well, really moist and tender. It's kind of a no-flukes machines (not a lot of cooking options). But frankly speaking you really do not need all the cooking options the more expensive cookers offer. You just place your meat and other in set the time and let it cook.

Room for improvement
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2.5 stars We take a lot of things for potlucks or meals for friends. We have one travel slow cooker that is a little smaller. When we saw this slow cooker, I jumped at the chance to try it. It looks a lot a regular Crock Pot except that the lid has clamps on it to help keep it sealed. There is also a gasket around the edge of the lid. The set up is intuitive. We added the items for our meal, chose the cooking temperature and length of time and let it go. Unfortunately, many hours later we found that uqite a bit of our chicken was still pink. We had cut it up into small pieces and it had been cooking a long time. In trying to figure out what the problem was, we realizes that it is the top of the ceramic pot. The rim on the pot gets wider in some areas than others. Consequently, the lid doesn't fit on it just right. We put the lid from our old crock pot on the new one and had the same issue. We out the new lid on the old pot and had no problem. The problem was the new pot. To use this crock pot, you have to be very careful that you get the lid on just right. And that is not an easy thing to do.

Terrible Design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get 4 settings. Craziest thing I've ever seen. The manual says that if the amount of time you need to cook isn't one of the four presets just pick the closest one! LoL !! Even though we were so mad this still made us laugh our heads off ! If you want to be able to cook multiple meals that use all kinds of different temps and cooking times then don't buy this ! And I don't understand why so many peoples reviews are bad but then they give them a five star. Weird..
