I had one 8 quart multi cooker from this same brand and after 5 years using it it got broken. I decided to buy another one but I couldn’t find the 8 quart then I chose the 6 quart instead. So far no regrets. It’s working nicely and I’m in love with this feature that one has which my finger is pointing at. But this time I also purchased the geek squat protection lol.

Great product, wife only cooks chicken using the air fryer, great for chicken wings, pork ribs, and anything with natural oils on it. If you do fish, make sure you spread some oil. Haven't had much luck with fresh cut fries. I wouldn't recommend a smaller size.

This was the V2 with the supposedly fixed lid. Seems to be defective too. Lid is loose even when locked. Tried to make stew in pressure cook mode with about 3 cups of liquid in the pot but steam just escape around the edges of the lid and it never came up to pressure. Will be returning next time i can get to my best buy store. No wonder if was on sale so cheap.

My experience with this express cooker has been one of incredible satisfaction. This crockpot/pressure cooker is as versatile as it is easy to use! First of all, I really appreciate and cannot emphasize enough how nice the easy release steam knob is. There is no need for a ladle or rag or anything else to help you release steam from the pressure cooker. The knob for the steam release valve is positioned far enough away that you don’t have to concern yourself with being burned. Additionally, it makes it really easy to just gently turn the knob and control exactly how quickly and how much steam you want to release.
I made pulled pork with this express cooker as one of my first dishes to try in it. I started off by using the brown/sauté mode to sear the pork shoulder and it did a great job of it; heating up quickly and not getting so hot as to burn the meat. For the remainder of the task, I chose manual pressure/heat selecting high and for 75 minutes. At the end of the cooking time, the screen began to count up in minutes to show how long the pressure had been given to naturally release. All in all, the end result was some delicious, pull-apart pulled pork that made my girlfriend and I extremely happy!
The cleanup was easy too. Something we noted was that the cooking pot appears to have some kind of anti-stick coating applied to it that made all the cooked-on pork and barbecue sauce just wipe off with ease. Our old pressure cooker had a stainless-steel cooking pot that made cleanup an absolute chore.
Overall, for the price and the features, I think this is an excellent competitor in the pressure cooker space and should cause other manufacturers to rethink how the do their steam release systems!

Complete meal pot

Crock-Pot is well known for slow cookers, but not everyone wants to wait around 4-11 hours for a tender juicy roast to be done. Now with the Crock-Pot Express you can knock out a roast in under an hour and still have the same tender, juicy, flavor filled meal. Couple that together with the ability to cook entire meals in a single pot, from sauteing the vegetables to thickening the gravy. This pot is perfect for cooking an average 4-6 person meal and keeping it warm after. One of my favorite meals has been spaghetti as you can brown the meat, simmer the sauce and cook the noodles all in the same pot giving the noodles that soaked in taste of twice baked spaghetti.

This thing is awesome. I'm not much of a cook, nor am I the type of person who enjoys spending any significant amount of time in the kitchen, so I've always stuck more or less to making things in a traitional Crock-Pot (it was literally the only thing I insisted be listed in my wedding registry). You can't really screw up dumping a few things in a vat, turning a knob and coming back in 6 hours to eat it, This is that, but you can come back in under 2 hours and usually under 1 hour to the same stuff that used to take all day. So if I'm not really feeling prepping the stuff the night before to pull it out of the fridge the next morning and setting it to cook (and I am NEVER feeling putting it together the day of before work), now I can just throw it all in when I get home and tah-dah. There's a little bit of a learning curve to using it as it has a few more moving parts, being a pressure cooker, but nothing about it is complicated if you take the time to read the instructions, then read them again as you kind of play-act like you're going to cook something. 15 minutes, tops and it doesn't seem like there's anything complicated about it. A lot of the recipes you'll find online or on the dump-and-go seasoning packets at the supermarket assume you're using an Instant Pot, which is the same appliance, but more widespread. Problem being that the Instant Pot labels it's control panel buttons differently. So you'll see something like "Set to Stew/Soup/Yogurt for 40 minutes" and have no button that seems even remotely analogous. I've found through trial and error (very little error actually, the buttons aren't confusing as to what they do) that generally, you can just substitute "Meat/Poultry" in for anything, use the specified time and it'll work out. Similar to a microwave, half the buttons seem to be there more to make the thing look fancy and be ignored by the actual end user. If you're concerned, do the same thing you would if you were cooking meat in any other fashion and cut a piece open to see if it's done inside. If it's not, cook it more. I've yet to overcook anything in this. One of the benefits is that meat stays very tender and juicy in a pressure cooker. I'm pretty sure you'd have to overcook to the extent of getting drunk and passing out for 8 hours with it on to actually dry something out and at that point, you might have bigger problems than a dry roast. Like the entire unit might have popped like a boiler an you have a hole in your roof. I don't know. Either way. If you take the time to read the instructions, use some general common sense when it comes to navigating the control panel and can read a recipe, this thing is totally worth having if for no other reason than the time it'll save you. Oh, it's also super easy to clean out too.

I bought this to steam vegetables for my baby since she don't like baby food anymore(my fault). It only takes 10 minutes and walah! I have a fresh, healthy meal for my baby. I have since used the crockpot option and it was great! Fast and convenient which is fine with me, as I work full time and am a full time mom. I have used all the cooking options, but I am definitely excited too!
