Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Express 6-Quart Easy Release Multi-Cooker's ease of use, faster cooking times, and great value for its price. Many appreciate its convenient size and the tender meat it produces. While some experienced issues with the sealing mechanism and steam leakage, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The pressure cooking function is also frequently praised.

    Multicooker to fix food quickly

This is not my mother's pressure cooker, and very different from the traditional slow cooker I associate with the Crock Pot brand. I do have a lunch warmer, and the design reminds me more of that, with its metal liner (not the heavy 'crockery' liner that's used with slow cookers. This liner is non-stick, which makes clean up easy, or wiping it out quickly to move to the next stage of the cooking process. You can use multiple functions in one recipe to prepare the whole meal, cooking it faster than you could bake it. It has the option for slow cooking, and delaying the start time, so food is ready when you need it. It can brown/saute, steam, and pressure cook. Because of the way food is prepared, you can fix healthy meals for a family, especially given the 6 quart size of the cooker. I didn't really like the recipe book. I'm going to look online for more recipes, and hope that'll give me more choices that fit what my family and I will eat. The beginner recipes were more complicated than I expected, as I have not used a pressure cooker before. Multiple recipes called for accessories not included with the Multicooker, like a 7 inch cake pan, two different 5 and a half inch trivets, and silicone egg pods- several in the beginner recipes. I don't want to buy accessories as I'm starting to use this appliance; that's something to try later, after I've gotten accustomed to it. And I'm not even sure what baking paper is. Except for the minor issues I had with the recipes, I really enjoyed this Crock Pot cooker. I did try several recipes, especially the eggs, with instructions for hard, medium, and soft boiled eggs- this I really appreciated. I also enjoyed the beef stew and the beef and broccoli with rice, full of flavor without overcooking the beef. It's great to fix more meals like this. It can even fix desserts too. The rice did turn out perfect, and I couldn't believe that it 'baked' potatoes so quickly, without heating up the whole kitchen, like it would have if I used the oven instead. I found the Owner's manual more interesting and informative than the recipe book, although the illustrations inspired me to try some new things and new ways of fixing familiar ones. The manual has the basics like safety information and how to operate and maintain the cooker. It also had a lot of tips and even how to steam or pressure cook basic foods, such as certain vegetables and meats. I really like the versatility of this multicooker, which has the capability of traditional slow cooking, steaming, and pressure cooking, but allows for combinations of functions so owners can prepare more in one appliance, and even additional functions, like the brown/sauté setting as well, so you don't have to turn the stove or oven on at all.

So far excellent results. Used to make Birria. Cuts hours off the process and I don't think you would be able to really tell the difference compared to cooking in a Dutch Oven for hours.

Still getting used to a pressure cooker, but so far I really like it. It's mainly been used for rice (brown and white) so far, which it does very well, the rice is soft and fluffy.

I bought this on sale for a gift. I wish I had bought several more when it was a great deal. The recipients indicated they like it, especially the rice function.

Bought for $35 during a sale but wasted my money.... Missed the return deadline by 1 day. TotalTech wouldn't grant an exemption for a return. I should have purchased the InstantPot instead. The Crock Pot would never go from the heat setting to the minutes on the display (not even once), I frequently got the E6 thing show up, it leaked the last time I used it, and it steams when it isn't supposed to. Totally regret buying it. I wish I returned it yesterday!

I am no cook by any means, but now I feel like I’ve gotten my foot in the door! I’ve cooked a bunch of different dishes using different settings and it’s been a super rewarding experience.

Great product with lots of uses. Unfortunately I did not have the counter space for it but it would definitely replace a lot of small appliances.

This would be a solid 5 star purchase if steam wasn't escaping from the lid the whole time. But that wasn't the case. Returned and went with an instant pot instead a little more costly but worth it.

Absolutely love the way this makes rice. The recipe calls for one cup water to one cup rice, I prefer two cups water to one cup rice. It comes out much fluffier!

We cook a lot for 4 or less and can do a lot with this cooker. The only thing is the slow cook isn't like a real crockpot, but all the other features puts it out of the park.
