It's a pressure cooker, Crock-Pot, rice cooker, you name it! I haven't tried all the different uses but I have made beef stew ( pressure cooker) a few times. It comes out excellent! I was able to give away my TFal pressure cooker & my crock pot and consolidate to this one pot!!

I've had a instant pot for few years and paid a nice price for it. When I bought this it was on sale for 49.99. All the options on this, no need for slow cooker crock pot. This one device frees up my counters, no need for other small kitchen appliance's.
