After running some tests, I found out that the hard drive in my old intel-based IMAC was slowly dying, so I got this SSD. I'm so glad I did as it has breathed new life into the computer. Apps load much faster and programs run more smoothly without any drag.

It does its job. Im not transferring large files a lot, but the speed is more than enough when it comes to gaming.

Guy tried upselling me on a different drive then what i needed lucky i knew what i wanted. This works dont let some know it all guid you differntly

This drive was purchased as an upgrade when I went to Windows 11, so I did not destroy anything on the Windows 10 hard drive. I received a message one time that a boot device could not be found but restarting the laptop restored full operation. I do back up regularly, as should anyone that uses a computer, even a new computer or one with a new hard drive. A long career in corporate IT has demonstrated that even new hard drives can fail.

Overall score would be 100/100 because of the price and speed. Replaced by 500GB SSD, so I’m on 1TB with good quality

Just bought a backwards compatible ps3 and wanted to upgrade the hard drive. Works perfectly and makes it a little faster as well.

Installation was very straight forward. cloned drive , and installed (thats another story) not harddrives fault, No hiccups fired up rock and rolled out of the gate, very impressed

Use these in older systems. Would be great if they had a software ram disk but very good anyway.

Purchased this drive to replace a failing traditional 500GB HDD. For the price, you can't the beat the performance and storage size of this SSD. Definitely sped up boot times, and overall responsiveness of the computer.

Drive works as expected, it's by Crucial, a brand I have trusted for a very long time.

Good price in today’s market for what is a known brand since Samsung screwed consumers and small businesses over. Hope they are quality, time will tell.

Absolutely love this SSD. It holds so much data and doesn't take up much room.

My laptop was very slow and not operating the way it should. I brought it in to the Geek Squad and they determined my hard drive as going b ad. They replace it with a new hard drive and it made my old laptop function like a new laptop.

Just getting started with significant loading but speed is excellent and capacity is enough to handle current volume plus my additional work for several years to come! Great little device!
