Restarting my laptop would usually resolve the issue, although it sometimes required two or three reboots before the drive was recognized. I contacted Crucial and went through their rather lengthy warranty validation process before returning the drive. I was informed that it would take approximately 10 days to process the return, followed by an additional 14 to 21 business days to receive a replacement. After waiting three weeks without receiving the replacement, I followed up and was told that the returned drive had not been received. At that point, I decided to move on and purchased a WD Blue SA510 SSD, which has been working very well.
