    Used this to replace (upgrade) a laptop 2.5" HDD. The swap out was pretty simple. I used Sabrent Acronis device/software to clone the drive. The improvement in speed and load times is obvious. Would recommend.

    Excellent SSD, have used the Crucial MX series as the "go-to" drive since the MX100, and the MX500 does not disappoint. Sale price from Best Buy was better vs. online vendors, and local availability sealed the sale. Highly recommended.

    I've had prior good experience with Crucial, and I bought this to use as an external archive drive. So far so good. I can't speak to the cloning software or performance because neither of those are important to me for my application.

    This is the easiest way to clone because it includes a link to free software which clones your drive AND sets the boot partition as ACTIVE. Not a tech, no problem.
