Definitely worth the upgrade if you still use an HDD things will load so quick you’ll forget you’re using a hand me down computer that’s 10 years old. I personally didn’t have a good experience with the acronis software that came with it, my computer is a bit older and running windows 10 but the software felt EXTREMELY slow which is why I dropped a star. Other than that it works well. Ended up getting a newer laptop and taking this drive out of my desktop and putting into the new laptop to hold some extra games, works just the same like it came from factory with it installed
