Used to use a HDD for my boot drive this one has been amazing the size is smaller if you use it for boot it will take a bit off but over all it’s a perfect first or boot ssd

1TB does the job if you are only going to play a few games

This memory has gone above and beyond to ensure at least twice as fast as my Samsung EVO Pro SSD. I’m enjoying the speeds and extra space at a great price, couldn’t help but pick this up.

Works well, PCIE Gen 3 so it's not quite as fast as other high end M.2 SSDs, but the price more than makes up for it and is excellent for either an upgrade to an older system, or a main drive for a budget PC

My P3 M2 died within a year of use and I really didn't write much on it. Fortunately, Micron has been relatively easy to work with and should have a replacement to me shortly. Just a reminder - back up your data!

I bought one of these for each of my gaming PCs to get a bit more space for my Steam games. Zero issues as expected, spent a few extra bucks to get Crucial based on how they handled a failed drive last year.

Worked great. Pulled out my Windows hard drive, plugged this into the other HD slot and installed Linux Mint. Put the Windows Drive back in and now have a choice of two operating systems on start up.

When it comes to gaming literally almost any SSD will be fine. Even the difference between the slowest nvme SSD and the fastest will only be a couple seconds when it comes to game load times and the in game experience will be imperceivable. Regardless any NVME M.2 SSD will be blazing fast for gaming alone even a SATA SSD would be perfectly fine. If you're just looking for a game drive you don't need to focus much on if the drive has a DRAM cache. Just focus on a good value drive at your budget is all. It's only when you get to HDD's where you seriously start to feel the struggle as the speed difference is massive.

Second one ive owned and they bith have worked perfect first one was transferred from SSD to these and even that was easy and smooth going

My C drive was too small. The update increased speed with ample space for updates. Strongly recommended.
