Speeds are slightly higher then kingston if you wanna choose the crucial as your main drive can do for gaming as well but will not be best compared to other high end brands if you can spend extra would be worth it.

Pros: 1. Impressive Speed (4/5): The Crucial P3 delivers excellent read and write speeds, thanks to its PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe interface. It significantly improves system responsiveness and reduces loading times for applications and games. 2. Ample Storage (4/5): With 1TB of storage capacity, this SSD provides enough space for your operating system, applications, games, and data. It's an excellent choice for users who require both speed and storage. 3. Affordable Price (4/5): The Crucial P3 offers an attractive balance between performance and affordability, making it accessible to users on a budget who want to upgrade to an NVMe SSD. 4. M.2 Form Factor (4/5): The M.2 form factor allows for easy installation on compatible motherboards without the need for additional cables or adapters. 5. Reliability (4/5): Crucial has a reputation for producing reliable SSDs, and the P3 is no exception. It delivers consistent performance and stability. Cons: 1. Speed Limitation (3/5): While the Crucial P3 offers impressive speed for its price range, it's important to note that it operates on the PCIe Gen 3 interface. Users seeking even higher speeds may want to consider a Gen 4 NVMe SSD. 2. No Included Heatsink (3/5): The SSD does not come with a built-in heatsink. While this may not be an issue for most users, those concerned about thermal management in high-demand applications may need to purchase a separate heatsink. Conclusion: The Crucial P3 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe SSD is a solid choice for users seeking a balance between speed, affordability, and storage capacity. Its impressive read and write speeds significantly improve system performance, making it an excellent upgrade for both gamers and professionals. While the SSD's speed is commendable, users looking for the absolute fastest NVMe SSDs should consider those operating on the PCIe Gen 4 interface. Additionally, the absence of a built-in heatsink may be a minor concern for users who require optimal thermal management in demanding tasks. Overall, if you're searching for an affordable NVMe SSD that provides a noticeable speed boost and ample storage space for your computing needs, the Crucial P3 1TB SSD is a worthy investment. It strikes a good balance between performance and cost-effectiveness, making it accessible to a wide range of users.

I got this drive to get some extra storage for my laptop, which travels with me pretty much everywhere I go. Right away I'll make this clear: It is not built for setting benchmark records or storing every movie you've watched since 2013. And it doesn't need to be. It's a no frills, efficient upgrade. And I'm thrilled because of that. It doesn't ask too much of my laptop's battery, it doesn't kick out an uncomfortable amount of waste heat, and it didn't break the bank. And if we're honest with ourselves, that's all we really need from our computers 99% of the time. And it's especially desirable in a laptop, since the best 4th generation drives can rarely deliver their best performance in a laptop chassis and the 5th generation designs making their way out probably can't even fit anyway. Only one warning: like most NVMe drives these days, it does not come with a mounting screw. Unfortunately, these days neither do all laptops. I keep spares on hand so I was fine, but you might want to check if you need one before you order so as to avoid having to disassemble your laptop more than you'd planned!

Used this drive to replace my 512mb M.2 drive. My old drive had a transfer rate of 1500mpbs. This Cruicial drives tranfer rate is 7000mbps. Performance spiked after the swap. I installed Windows 10 on it, to upgrade to Windows 11. Installing Win10 took about 60 seconds with it. Worth it! Made by Crucial, so you know its quality.

I used this in my system to store a ton of games. What I play is light on storage, the biggest game I have is GTA at 100GB. This runs perfectly fine as a bulk storage drive for fast load times, especially for someone coming from a HDD for game storage. I wouldn’t want to trust such a cheap drive for extremely important files, but for my need case, it is great.

This SSD was only one dollar cheaper than the Pcie 4.0 P3 Plus version. However, anything above 3.0 is often considered overkill in the gaming world. If you are trying to save as much money as possible, this SSD is a beast all on it's own.

I built a custom server for my home and wanted the system to run as fast as possible. Since the motherboard had a built-in NVMe slot I bought this Crucial 1TB SSD and it worked perfectly. Much faster that a SATA SSD, and it matched the specs for my motherboard. Great price for a 1TB drive and my home server runs very fast. The install took about 5 minutes.

It was bought as an upgrade to my personal laptop. Did the OS transfer with the help of a SSD enclosure. The speed is good compared to my previous SSD and the space is the reason for upgrade. Happy with the price too.
