Had a wd_black sn770 die on me not even a year of having it (roughly six months). Slotted this ssd in, downloaded my games back to it, write speed is fast so I’m not waiting for updates to patch forever. Overall I’m satisfied

Well it was really cheap when I bought it the drive slows down extremely after only 1.5 tb are used. I don’t really recommend just spend the little more on a pro samsung drive.

Started out fine but then noticed the computer was acting weird - random freezes, bluescreens and game crashes. I purchased a WD drive of same capacity and then all the issues went away. Ended up RMA'ing the drive back to Crucial and got a replacement - so far so good. I'm not sure I can trust Crucial.

Meets advertised speeds, however reported useable size is only 1.8TB, not 2TB, reported in windows 11 installer and ubuntu 24.

Blazing fast speeds from this SSD, works fantastic in my PC and would be great for PS5 owners as well just need to add a heatsink. I upgraded from a Samsung 970 that had started to have errors and issues, so I knew it was time to do something about it. With the seemingly endless inflation to the installation size of games these days I think you want to get at least 2TB for a gaming setup if budget allows. This drive offers over double the previous gen 3 SSD I was using, seeing right at 7000MB/s in crystal disk benchmark. It was fairly easy to install, pop off the side cover and luckily with my motherboard I was able to remove the heatsink and install it without pulling my GPU. Crucial is a Micron brand which is one of essentially 3 companies in the world that can manufacture this type of memory. So in general I have had great experience with the quality of Crucial products, this drive has a 5yr warranty which is nice but of course any attempt for data recovery is not covered which is typical. Overall cant go wrong with this drive - blazing fast speeds, good quality, and good amount of storage space we are already living in the year 3024

Works as advertised with 1 tb hard drive, but 2 weeks later laptop got fried by surge and had to send it to data recovery center

I buy Crucial for most of my computing needs and am overall very satisfied with their products! This drive though has a bad sector thats unrepairable by window's chkdsk utility even after 3 times my clone of a client's drive failed-VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ONLY gave Crucial the extra star since this is the first issue over many reliable years!
