    Excellent item. This item meets my needs. Important: cable included is Usb C to usb C. If the laptop does not have an type C input, you need to buy a cable USB Type A to C.

    Small footprint and the read/write speeds are 1gb per sec. I have moved data from iPad to smartphone to macbook seamlessly. I did not have to format between the different file systems. I moved 5gb of video shy of 6 secs.
