This thing is shockingly small, fast, and convenient. I use it for Time Machine backups; no problems there.

so far so good. size is the biggest factor. and also it doesn't get excruciatingly hot like my sandisk extreme pro does, or even my Samsung t7 does. It's just crazy to me how small it is, I'm actually afraid of losing it haha

Amazingly small, quiet, portable, and very affordable.

This might be magic. Small. Powerful. Quiet. Over 30 years in Design and I'm stunned at how so much can be saves to something so small with no fans or noise. Have had it for over a year. Not a single problem. My only "complaint" is that Crucial does not make a wider variety of drives. I guess I'll just have to replace all my noisy, big, and clunky externals with a few of these.

I'm using this on an old Mac that doesn't have enough storage. This does exactly what I needed to do saving all my photos and information I highly recommend it.

This is a great external SSD for Mac. It works out of the box without reformatting it, though you can certainly can to wipeout it clean if you want. It’s fast and hardly anything issues. If you’re looking for the one external SSD for your Mac, make it this one!

Very impressed that this little thing gets such speeds. Water / dust protection adds comfort for using this as a memories bsckup. Happy to buy again.

My Mac writes to this drive fairly fast. Deletions, however, take a long time. This is probably a Mac issue rather than an issue with the drive. Otherwise, this is a no fuss drive for weekly backups.

Very small footprint for the amount of storage tou get. Matches my Macbook well and was plug and play.

Amazingly small. Transfer speed about twice my best spinner. Came set up for Apple but formatting for Linux no issue. Used to keep monthly backups of the windows vbox so having enough for 3 months backup is nice. Does get warm but so far not hot to touch.

The item works perfectly, but I could not register this SSD for my warranty. I had to get help with his issue and I still was unable to register this device. Otherwise, this SSD worked well.

Had to backup a lot of data so I could move my stuff over and handover my older machine to family. This device made the transition very light work because it was amazingly fast at backup and transfer.

I have a Mac Mini and bought this for the Time Machine backup. It is very fast. It takes 2-3 minutes for me to do my daily backup. I have about 360GB of data. The set was extremely easy. Just plug the SSD in, pick it as your backup and that’s it. The drive is tiny. Smaller than a credit card and not thick at all. This SSD replaces an old hard drive that was slow, glitchy and way bigger.

Fantastic for my MacBook Pro. I only wish they made a 5TB version.
