Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the ease of use, cooking performance, and size of the 8-qt. Digital Air Fryer Kit with TurboCrisp. Many appreciate the convenient window and the affordable price point. While some users noted a plastic smell during initial use and minor issues with the basket and controls, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The attractive design is also frequently praised.

The Sensio "Marshmello" edition 8qt. air fryer is fantastic and so easy to use! It is packed very simplistic and free of a lot of unneccesary filler in the box. The box is a fun blue color with the music artist "Marshmello"'s head style and shows the features of the air fryer. After that, the air fryer itself really has reletively nothing to do with Marshmello. It's a Sensio air fryer, and it is super easy to use, clean, and fits well under the cabinet. You will have a few stickers to take off the front, and some tape to take off holding the basket from coming out. Take the basket out and you will see a silicone baking tray and a metal "crisper" tray, along with an instruction guide. Inside the guide it will direct you to the different cooking modes and what the buttons mean on the front panel. You are also able to free select a temperature and cook time in just a couple button presses. It couldn't be easier! The cooking basket itself seems to have a bit of a nonstick coating to it, making clean up very easy and quick. The crisper tray slides into the basket easily and has a easy to grab handle in the middle of it to lift it out. It has rubber feet, so it sits in the basket very securely. After initially washing everything, it's time to start cooking! The basket has a front window on it so you can watch your food cook! There is also a light button on the front panel that you can press to illuminate inside the basket for about 10 seconds and it will auto turn the light back off. The noise level is low to moderate, and the air exhausts out of a port in the back. It does have a chome that goes off when the timer is done on the cooking. If you need to reheat, it also has a quick reheat button that will turn the unit back on for a couple minutes. Everything I have cooked has come out very crispy and well cooked. I will have to say, just watch your cooking times, because it could easily burn your food as well. I had an issue with some bagel bites where the box only had toaster oven directions for 400 degreen for 16 minutes. I tried that on the air fryer and the cheese came out black, but it did not burn anything but the tops! I tried again and just did 5 minutes and it cooked them perfect! Overall this a fantastic air fryer and is my most favorite one that I have owned! I highly recommend!

Worked Good while it lasted, which wasnt very long! I purchased this airfryer on 12/19/22, it was delivered on 12/21/22. I didnt use it until mid January 2023. I used it about 10 times between mid January 2023 and February 27th, 2023. On February 27th, 2023 I tried to use it to cook some french fries for my daughter. When I plugged it in, the panel lit up and beeped and went black. I plugged the airfryer into 3 different outlets throughout the house and each time the panel would light up and turn off. When it worked it worked very well, but it only lasted about 6 weeks of use. It has never been dropped or wet or any other damage, its defective.

So far, I am very impressed with this air fryer! I have had many air fryers, and this must be one of my favorites. There are a couple of key features to this air fryer that make it stand out from the others. One of the things I love about this cooker is how the artist Marshmellow came together with Crux and made this wicked cool air fryer! Some of the features highlight the artist and his logo, such as the cooking selector with his fun logo, that selection lets you pick your own time and temperature. What makes this air fryer so great is that it is massive and boasts an 8-quart tray that holds a whole bag of chicken nuggets, perfect for anyone with kids or anyone who loves chicken nuggets. Another great feature is how fast and even this fryer cooks, it is way faster than an oven and more even than a microwave. This air fryer is very simple to use and has 6 simple buttons to control the machine. The one thing this air fryer has that makes it stand out from others is a light! I LOVE that it has a light that brightens up the whole inside, so no more opening the drawer to see how the food is doing, you can keep the drawer closed keeping the heat in while peeking at your meal. Another great feature is that it comes with a silicone baking pan! The baking pan sits perfectly in the dishwasher-safe non-stick air fry basket. The drawer basket comes with a removable TurboCrisp tray that is non-stick and dishwasher safe and is honestly very quick and easy to clean. This air fryer has an adjustable thermostat with the ability to get to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. There are 8 pre-programmed cook settings that make the perfectly cooked meal every time. No soggy foods, ever! The 1750-Watt power lets you crisp, roast, bake, sear, and reheat in less time making it so the family can enjoy a nice meal faster. Air fryers are life-changing! Pros: -Powerful 1750-Watt heating system -Built-in light, so you can check the food without opening -Easy to use! -The Marshmellow preset lets you choose your own preferred cooking temp and time -PFOA and PTFE free -Extra-large 8-quart tray -Dishwasher safe non-stick air fry basket and TurboCrisp tray -Silicone baking pan -Partnership with renowned Artist and Producer Marshmellow!! -Cool colored display Cons: -There are no cons to this product. Air fryers are life-changing, and this one is so cool! I recommend this air fryer to everyone, especially those with kids, college students, or anyone who likes delicious food.

I should have known better. The touch display is pointless, you have to scroll through options. I’m glad for the geek squad service plan because I need to bring it in for replacement today in less than a year because it tried to burn my house down last night. I think the display/control board is faulty. It turned on by itself in the middle of the night!!! Luckily my elderly mother came down for a snack and unplugged it. Lesson learned. Unplug convenience appliances when not in use.

I really am a fan of air fryers. As you knnow these things have do for the kitchen , what the toaster oven did to the microwave and what the miicrowave did to the sauce pan for reheating food. I love the way I'm able to cook a healthier yet very delicuos meal in less time and with much less clean-up. I swear, I don't miss baking hot wings...much. But I've never been one to make whole chickens until I found the air fryer. The Crux Marshmellow is going to easily replace my older and still very capable air fryer. Just because it's larger, but at the same time, more space saving. That makes a heck of difference when you've got a small kitchen space. Where as many air fryers come with a small recipe booklets, I was surprised to see that the Marshmellow only comes with a user guide. However, it does have this QR code symbol that will give you access to the Crux website. And in there you'll find a couple recipes. Nothing I wass particularly excited about, so I chose to go with some of my own. And oh boy, does this thing get ta cooking. Remembering that my other air fryers are mainly 6 Qts. 8 Qts feeds a small crew. I love the light that allows me to see the the food cooking and the baking pan is super easy to clean after cooking. This will make a great gift for someone who already has an air fryer. I love this thing.

I have been looking for a nice small, quick and easy air fryer for my small place. I ran across this and so impressed with how it functions making my meals easy to prepare. This little device takes no time at all on setup with a small book that provides quick pre-sets to use when cooking. The cleaning of the equipment was very easy with very few parts that need to be cleaned. The only issue I came across when cleaning was the window on the front. It has open spacers on top and bottom for water to go through however you are unable to remove the front to clean water droplets or potential fog. This product can air fry or bake so it works well to act as a small oven. However it is recommended to lower the recommended temperature by 50 degree as its very compact. I have tried making some fried items along with backing some fish. All worked well with no issue, plus I really like how you can use the inside light to check on the food. The electric panel is very basic so recommend keeping the book by your side until get use to the keys. Overall this is a great product to use for small apartments / small groups. Its quick and easy to prepare food and easy to clean after use.

    One Of Best Air fryers!

I love air fryers they are extremely useful especially with a family of 6. We have had several different ones I even had one with split compartments and while they all worked well they all had one issue they were extremely loud. Now this air fryer is not quiet but it’s is possibly the quietest air fryer I have ever used. It works great cooks food quickly it does kick out a bit more heat than the other air fryers but the unit does not feel too hot overall. I love the fact that it comes with an extra silicon basket. If you don’t have one for your air fryer get one they are extremely helpful and make it super easy to clean and keep your air fryer from becoming a greasy mess. I was also surprised that is was branded as a marshmello one as the box had his face all over it I was expecting the air fryer to look like him but to my surprised the only thing to really let you k own it’s branded is the memory icon in the screen looks like his head besides that you would never know. Overall this air fryer is great is does a great job. Cooking food is very quiet for an air fryer and overall is great.

Living in a health conscious home, we are always trying ways to cook meals healthier, while maintaining the best possible taste. While air fryers have been a thing for a while (and we have gone through several), one thing remains the same among almost every air fryer we have tried. The cooking method always seems to be a top down coil burner (much like the coil burners you see on stove tops) with a circulation fan. The differences you see from brand to brand, always seems to be the design (outside of the heating element). Whether it is the exterior aesthetic, the basket size, if they include a wire rack, or a silicone basket, if the controls are digital, or even if there is a window on the front of the basket, or a light inside. The Crux 8 QT digital air fryer, like most all appliances on the market, has its pros and cons. PROS: It heats up and cooks quickly and evenly, which is ultimately what you want. There is one custom preset button that remembers your settings for things you might cook daily (more on this later). The window on the front of the basket is a nice touch while using the bottom tray, but if you use the silicone basket, you won’t be able to see anything inside because of the silicone basket height. There is also an interior light that stays on for 30 seconds once the light button is pushed. I have not seen anything like that on other air fryers I have had in the past. Cool! It is also a nice looking countertop item. CONS: Straight out of the box, the orange silicone basket had black spots on the outside of the basket (see photos). I tried to clean them, but they are permanent. The digital readout is full color and looks great, but you cannot touch the icons for single press cooking. As it stands, you need to press the menu button multiple times to cycle through the cooking presets, then adjust temp/time accordingly. If you want to get to your saved quick preset, you need to press the menu button SEVEN times to get there. Why not make the custom preset button the first one? As with all kitchen appliances, I recommend running a cycle or two without anything inside to heat up all of the interior parts and effectively sterilize them before use. The first time I did this, I noticed that the unit emitted an unpleasant odor when I opened the basket, so I did it two more times and each time it got less noticeable. To be fair, the instruction manual did mention that this is normal and it is nothing to be alarmed about. Which leads me to the following… I contacted customer service directly to find out if there are any “forever chemicals” inside the basket or included in the metal tray. After a brief hold, the agent came back on to assure me that there were none, including PFAS which I specifically singled out. I then requested a link to somewhere on their website that lists this information and after another hold, she said unfortunately this information is currently not available online. Take that information how you will. I do believe that companies like this need to be more transparent about what goes into making their cookware and if it is a safe healthy choice. Printing this information on the outside of the retail box, or in the included pamphlet, or including it on the company homepage would go a long way and could IMHO ultimately create more sales. All in all, it is a decently designed product that (as stated above) could definitely use a few upgrades in version two.

    Powerful Little Marshmello

My wife has been wanting a new air fryer for a while now. She went out and bought a pretty large one for her first air fryer, but she liked the features for the new Sensio Marshmello, so we picked it up to try it out. Overall, my wife really liked it, so much so that she rated it 5 stars, and she's a pretty tough critic for her small kitchen appliances. She really liked the size. Even though it's still a 8qt air fryer, it's actually smaller than the older 8qt air fryer that she replaced with the Marshmello. Another feature she really liked is the Marshmello has a window in the front of the tray, so you can actually turn on a light and see what you're cooking, kinda like a regular oven. Another feature she liked was the timer. On the older air fryer we had, you could only set the timer for 30 minutes max, but with the Marshmello, the timer goes up to an hour. So for recipes that call for longer cooking, she can set it and forget it. She also liked that the Marshmello comes with pre-programed options, but also has the capability for custom made presets. For her, that was huge because when she's trying a recipe out for the first time, she usually goes by the book, but once she's had a chance to try it out, she'll want to customize how she prepares things. So the built in pre-sets were nice, but so was the ability to add our own. The only real draw back that she pointed out, but not enough of one to cause her to rate it lower, is that the power cord for the unit is on the shorter side, so it'll need to be pretty close to the power outlet. Our kitchen island is fairly large and has power outlets on both sides, so it wasn't really a concern for her, just something she noticed. Her first cooking experiment was her classic baked potato and baked sweet potato. She was so happy because they turned out perfect, light and crunchy on the outside but softer and perfect in the middle. All in all, she's happy with this and I can't wait for her to try making her famous hot wings in this thing!
