Great Accessory to Goggles

For anyone with the Merge Goggles, one needs the Cube. It is pretty versatile, and on its own looks good. If picking up the Goggles, make sure to pick up the Cube.

The site says download one of these apps to activate. The first app from the play store I attempted to download was $8.99. NEXT Next app was $2.99. PASS Finally found Digg, and it was free. After a few minutes to activate and register I was able to see what the Cube was all about. Roughly 30 seconds later I was done. At best this is a novelty toy. There is some cool aspect, for about 30 seconds. After you have been annoyed trying to find an app worth trying that won't cost more cash, that 30 second is not worth it. It is a cool concept, but poorly executed. The only reason I did not give 1 star, with a few decent apps, this could be a pretty decent toy that you might Digg out once every few months when you notice the dust it has collected.

The apps that I downloaded for it interacted with the cube good but not perfectly. It's a fun and exciting toy, but if you don't have the right apps, it only lasts as long as an afternoon's worth of enjoyment. I recommend it for the younger audience.

I guess I'm just not a VR lover as I found this to be pretty lame. *If* the globe app allowed zooming in to different countries, for example, I could see it as educational for my daughter. Even she wasn't a fan.

Overall I was left a bit disappointed.
