Not that easy to program but so far so good. Hope it lasts

Sturdy good but not necessary . I gave mine away and bought the ice cofee maker from target . Its a bit bulky if your going for that .

Needed a new coffeemaker and checked out the reviews on several models. Decided on the 12-cup capacity Cuisinart. After using the product for three weeks, the water started leaking from the side of the measuring site glass, which shows the amount of water poured into the maker. Could not figure out where the water came from, since it does not leak all the time. This isn't the first Cuisinart product I have purchased. After several months, the other product was flawed too. Last time I buy another Cuisinart product.

This is probably one of the best coffee makers I've ever used. I love the design of it and it's incredibly easy to use. It keeps coffee hot and has a great feature, you can pour while it makes. As long as the filter basket is inserted properly, If not, it can leak. The biggest design flaw is pouring the water in. You need to keep the plastic cover on the pot to keep water from spilling as you pour, and even then, it's hit and miss. Also, between brews, because of the design, under the lid of the coffee maker, there is moisure that stays and if you don't wipe it out, it'll be there the next day. Obviously, it gets really hot in there so there's no chance of disease or germs, but I wish it didn't do that.

Ok what's not great is the lid, it snaps on to the carafe. I don't know how long the lid will be able to snap on and off before wearing out plus its a pain every time you want to fill it up or rinse it out, a hinged lid would be nice, albeit not much of a problem. Well with that said it does pour nice with no dripping. I use my sink faucet which extends from the holder to fill the reservoir so I have no problem there. Set up is straight forward if you know how to set an alarm clock this is easier I didn't even look at the directions to set it, just turn the knob to clock and set, turn the knob to prog. and set your delay. There is an hour and a minute button to change the time. Nice thing about this is the up to 4 hour turn off delay, many coffee makers only have a 2 hour turn off. Like other reviewers have said the clock is not back lit, if I can't see it I turn a light on!!! Who sets the clock or delay time in the dark, I have two other lighted clocks in my kitchen (on the stove and microwave# so not seeing the coffee pot clock in the dark doesn't bother me. So over all it makes a 12 cup pot in about 10 minutes. It has a 1-4 cup mode as well, and there is a setting saver if the power goes out or gets unplugged it remembers the time and settings. The only feature it doesn't have is a reminder to replace the water filter, it does say to replace every 60 days or 60 uses. Also, it uses the cone shape filters, it also has the reusable screen filter. Someone said it makes a weak pot of coffee, the filter will hold up to 15 table spoons of coffee grounds, I use 6 for a 12 cup pot I don't know how it could make a weak cup myself. As of this writing I have had it for almost 2 months making 1 full pot a day, so far so good, I hope it lasts. This is replacing the two Frigidaire's that burned out in under a year #which also made a good cup of coffee), and thanks to BB for exchanging each one and then to this one.

I researched coffee makers and narrowed it down to 5 and this one was #3. I purchased this one because my first two choices were not available at Best Buy. I only have a couple of complaints and they are really not that sugnifficant of an issue. Dislikes: 1. The clock is not illuminated, which makes it hard to read. 2. When you open the lid, to pour in the water, you have to pull the unit out toward the edge of the counter because it's to tall to fit under the cabinet. 3. I leave the lid open to let the unit dry out inside. For some reason a lot of moisture accumulates. 4. You have to order the water filters in a two year supply (12 filters) at a cost of $34.95 + shipping & tax which comes to more than half the cost of the unit itself! 5. The cord is to short which limits the location you can put the coffee maker. 6. The lid seem flimsy, whould be nicer if it were made of a little thicker plastic. Likes: 1. Makes 12 cups of coffee instead of the standard 10 cups that most coffee makers make. 2. Ease of pouring in the water, as long as you hook the lip of the carafe on the edge of the unit it pours in easely. 3. You can control the length of time the coffee stays warm, after brewing.

Have only had it a month, but so far so good (knock on wood). Really makes a good brew, is easy to use, price is right and is a nice looking coffee maker; goes well with dark appliances & counter-top. The only things I really find off with this c-maker are: 1) Adding water; the opening is pretty small, so you have to have good aim and a steady hand. 2) The beeping at the end of the brew. It's rather annoying, I like the idea of the notification, but wish you could at least adjust the volume of the beep.

When I say that this is the best coffee maker I have EVER had, I mean it. Sets up easy the first time. Easy to pour water in. Goldtone filter works great. Not even one drop falls when you use the pour and pause feature. No steam comes out of top when brewing. Carafe is awesome. I would pay the replacement price if it breaks. And the best of all, GREAT COFFEE.

Replaced another Cuisinart that died after 5 years. This model has a different look but operates in a identical manner. The price for this maker is very reasonable as it does everything but grind beans and/or make expresso. It functions as a typical coffeemaker and provides a good tasting cup of coffee. It also brews 12 cups which is beneficial for a family of coffee drinkers. The only shortcoming , and this was true of its predecessor, is that filling it with water is a little difficult. It has two flaws, first the lid doesn't open far enough to provide easy access to the filling chamber. Secondly, the filling chamber itself is located at the rear of the top, near the hinged lid location. Fortunately, the carafe doesn't leak and is used to fill the chamber. With a little care and in a lighted room, the pot can be filled without spilling any water. I've noticed that this problem exists on many coffeemakers, it's surprising that these manufacturers haven't eliminated it.

I bought this to replace a cheap old hamilton beach and was surprised to taste the differents in the coffee that this makes. Some talk about they wish it had a lit clock. I dont . We have enough clocks around that are lit on fridge and stove so dont need it on the coffee maker. Very satisfied!

This coffee maker is easy to use, simple, fast and no issues. I like that you have option with paper filters or permanent filter.

Best coffeemaker we've ever had. The coffeemaker is an attractive addition to our kitchen counter, and the coffee tastes delicious. While I don't know if it actually can brew a pot of coffee in 5-6 minutes, it is fast. Perhaps the most important feature for us is that the carafe is the first one that I have ever had that actually, really and truly does NOT drip. Further, the brew-pause feature does not leak any coffee when I pull the carafe out. Looks good, works well. brews great.

I researched lots of coffee makers before coming across this cuisinart model. I'm glad I decided to give this one a shot. It's simple to use and easy to clean. It makes a great pot of coffee and we're saving a lot by making our own at home now.

It works great and looks good in the kitchen. The lid and spout are practically drip free and it makes good coffee. Overall, very satisfied.

Got the coffee maker about a month ago. Found it online and selected the model partly due to what was available for pick-up at the store. I needed a new one NOW. Found good reviews on this brand. Selected this one and have no major complaints. Best part for me is that it does truly make HOT coffee and doesn't drip when you take it out to pour.

I have used my coffee maker for about 3 weeks. I love the ease of use and it is very easy to program. I have used other products that make setting the clock difficult. I also like fact that I don't have to use filters. The coffee tastes great!!!!
