I'm not sure what else to say about knives. Keep them sharp to avoid stitches! Understand, it isn't Japanese or German steel so you DO get what you pay for.

I am not so sure of the need for the sleeves, but the knives are made very well... Great quality at a great Deal of the Day price...

They are very sharp right out of the box. The sheaths fit well and are easy to get on and off the knives with intent. They don't seem to be loose enough to fall off accidentally when moving the knives around the kitchen. This collection represents a good assortment of knife usage, and I doubt you would find yourself needing something else.

I appreciate the colors allowing me to easily differentiate when cutting meat and veggies. As far as their purpose, these are very sharp and do a top notch cutting job
