They are sharp and the set contains knives commonly used in a home kitchen. My sister loves the set I gave her. And it was a great set to give my niece who is setting up her first home.

Best knives ever

I bought very expensive sets and not near as good as these.

Super Knife Set

Like the different colors help you choose the correct knife quicker. The blade covers are a plus keeps the blades protected and you when reaching for them in a drawer.
