A great addition to my knife collection

Not only are they colorful and "Pop" but I love the fact that they come with covers which gives me a little extra comfort knowing that the blades are protected and the little ones can't accidentally injure themselves if they were to open the knife drawer. These knives are also extremely sharp and sturdy.

Excellent Knives...But Rust?

It's exceedingly helpful that they come with covers that are not difficult to slide onto the blade...no accidental cuts. The only thing that is a downside to these knives is that they rust easily. The color on the knives end just before the sharp portion of the blade. Over time the color does chip and wear off further back on the blade. The non-colored area cannot be exposed/submerged in water for an extended period of time or else it will rust. After noticing this the first time, my family has made it a point to immediately wash and dry the knives after usage or at least ensure that the used knife isn't exposed to water before a wash is possible.
