I like the covers so that I don't have to worry about cutting myself when grabbing one from the drawer. I don't like keeping a knife block on the counter, so these are great.

This is a great set of knives!

I cautioned my wife "I read the reviews, be careful with these, they are sharp." She cut her finger tip! She loves them and we use them nearly every day.

Everyday day use gir bread, meat etc, strong handle when cutting frozen pork chops, overall they're decent, durable and thr cover is perfect so you don cut yourself trying to get them from drawer.
