A great coffee maker! Has never let me down so far. Makes delicious hot piping coffee. If you don't use the gold filter provided then I suggest you use "Bamboo" filters - well worth the extra pennies. This coffee maker has easily programmable features. Start up was a snap. 1-4 cups is a feature you will probably use a lot. Cleaning and descaling is a breeze. This coffee pot costs a little more but it works very well. No regrets here.

I love my Cuisinart coffee maker! Perfect hot coffee every time. Easy to clean and easy to program. Love it!

Owned one previously for a few years and never had any issue. When I had a house fire, I replaced it with the same model as it met my needs nicely. Your basic coffee pot with a couple of handy, though still basic, features. 14 cup brewing capacity is a big win. Comes with a gold reusable filter (my girlfriend doesn't care for the fine residue it leaves in the last cup of coffee, I don't mind at all). Has features for brewing extra strength or small brew, which simply drip at a lower rate to allow more time for water to contact your grounds. Programming is simple, but effective (doesn't support multiple programs). Temperature setting (L/M/H) is nice, though high is like drinking plasma from the surface of the sun. Multiple audio levels would be nice as it's either on or off, and the volume is much to high to be able to leave it on (sounds like a smoke alarm going off). Would recommend if your needs are simple.

I previously had the Cuisinart DCC-1200 which was great and lasted for many years. I broke the glass pot recently and could not easily find a replacement locally. They have them on Amazon but the reviews for the glass quality were not good. I decided it was time for a new coffee maker. I mostly shop Best Buy for my electronics and appliances and so forth. The DCC-3200 has great reviews here and on Amazon so I got it. I really like the easy to read display, the old model display was not lit and very hard to read the time. This one has all the new settings for 1-4 cups, bold, timer and so on and a larger 14 cup pot. Seems to have the right temperature for the water and coffee tastes good. I use a Capresso burr grinder and had to adjust the grind a little bit, ended up more medium range than compared to the old coffee maker. Probably now more in line with what it should be for drip coffee maker. 1 issue that I did run into was an initial plastic taste and smell to the first few pots of coffee. I ran 2 or 3 full pots of water through the unit and it cleared it out with no issues.

Easy to use. Produces a great cup of coffee. Easy to get the day going.
