All slots work, it is stylish and toasts perfectly. The only downside is that it is pretty big to be left out on the counter if you have a smaller kitchen. Ours is a good size, but we still tend to put it away when not in use.

The only drawback is the large (i.e. wider) types of bread don't fit real well. They must be either squeezed in a bit, or turned sideways which affects the amount of area toasted.
