Cuisinart - 4-Slice Toaster - Brushed Chrome

At least not as it was intended to. It wouldn't toast a slice of bread correctly. I'd have to run it through the process twice, and then it would be overdone.I tried different settings, but to no avail. So, I returned it and chose to give the same item, only replaced, a second chance. The second toaster works much better than the first. It still, in MY opinion, doesn't do as I expect a toaster should, but I'm satisfied enough to keep this one. PERHAPS, as it gets broken in it will act correctly!? :-)
