Purchase the TOB-5 instead, it is the same unit

You can purchase the same exact unit, but with a light in the interior now for 30.00 less. Model is TOB-5. I switched from the TOB-5 to the 1010 because BB described the TOB-5 as silver in finish and the 1010 as stainless in finish. In fact (confirmed with Cusinart) they are the same unit only the TOB-5 has an interior light. The TOB-5 is also Stainless Steel in front as is the 1010. I spoke to customer service at Best Buy and they only offered that I return the unit rather then make some adjustment. Basically I am out 30 plus dollars based on a mischaracterization by Best Buy.

Portable stainless steel toaster oven

Great buy

Only complaint I would have is if switching the top knob during cooking, it would turn off the oven. Safety feature I'm sure but have found times where it would turn off on it's own but messing with the knob would fix it. Doesn't happen often but just something to consider

It started to smoke a few seconds after I turned it on so I could not use it at all. It also got extremely hot. It looks great and the size is perfect but the product is not safe.

Loud buzzer

There’s videos on YouTube on how to drill a hole in the front of it to disable the buzzer. I preferred to return it and get a different one .

I'm using my old grill and had to bend the bracket outward. Not as good as my old one

Broken after 6 months
