Faulty Red Float Valve!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Constant problems with Red float Valve on top of cover not alowing pressure to build up, making Pressure Cooker useless. After owning for one month was unalbe to use as Red float Valve wouldn't alow pressure to build up pressure constantly releasing steam until all water evaporated and vegetables burnt to a crisp. Tried suggested cleaning remedies without sussess. Also upon researching found out this is a known problem.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited with this electric pressure cooker pan. But what a deception! IT takes 3 times longer to have the food ready!!!! Besides the terrible noise.!!! I would go with the old fashioned cook pressure. Faster, Easier.

Don't buy this brand
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this pressure cooker from Best Buy about a year and a half ago. The first couple times I used it, it worked well. Then it started acting up. I read all directions, cleaned all the parts well, did everything as directed, but it won't get up to pressure. It heats up but will not hold pressure and automatically resets to the warm setting. There are lots of other pressure cookers out there. Pick a different one, this one is not good.

Hefty!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is quite large, and heavy. With food inside it's even HEAVIER!!!!! Not something we decided to keep - took up a lot of counter space and was too close to the bottom of the cabinets.

Garbage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Useless product. Gave it 1 star because i couldn't give zero. Will not pressurize. Used first time today after sitting in the box for a few months. Will simmer and or brown but it's a pressure cooker that doesn't perform its primary function. Being thankgiving, i cannot get any help from cuisinart, but i exoect this to become a brick.

Does not work
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were so excited to get this pressure cooker, but it wasn't able to start cooking. We tried a few different times. I would get a higher end one like the instant pot. It just ended in the back of our cupboard. Don't waste your money on this product.

Malfunctioning product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pressure cooker has a faulty circuit board. Sometimes the device operates properly and sometimes it doesn't. I called Cuisinart and was told that I should take it back to Best Buy.

Love it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried another brand and loved it too but it died after 90 days. This one has a 3 year warranty and has protection circuit features which keep it from overheating if what your cooking cooks down too low on water so that your bean soup sticks a little to the bottom. With the Cuisinart it senses this and shuts off whereas the other brand just dies. If you research electric pressure cookers you'll find that many brands don't last that long. I highly recommend this one. I get a full freshly cooked meal in 45 minutes from start to finish.

Great Little Cooker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read several reviews before deciding to purchase this product, and I'm glad I picked the Cuisinart. It seems well built, but it's not overly heavy. The instructions are clear, and the recipes are helpful; I tried the pot roast, and it turned out perfectly! Cleanup was easy thanks to the non-stick pot, though I'm a little worried about scratching the interior - plastic utensils only. It's easy to operate, and it takes about 10 minutes to build up to high pressure. I can't speak to its durability at this point, but judging by the reviews and Cuisinart's 3-year warranty, I'm quite hopeful. All in all, I'd say it's a good value.

Downright Perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I got this I really didn't know what to expect. I had heard a lot of pros of pressure cooking but wasn't sure if it was really up to all of the hype. I did a lot of checking before finally settling on this one. The instruction booklet isn't very user friendly in explaining things. I got more info off Google and YouTube than that booklet inside of it but, that is not a reflection of the machine itself. Once you get the hang of it and figure out what they are actually saying the set up is so easy its almost embarrassing that the booklet confused so much. Its effortless! Like most I like easy and this is very easy. Use was a breeze and it performed perfectly. Literally start and walk away. The timer is loud enough to be heard in other rooms and even if you can't jump up and go to it right away, it auto goes into warm while it de-pressurizes itself. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I can see it will get a lot of use.

The best product in kitchen! 5++
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was recommended by my best friend who lives in NC about this product. It's multifunctional, time and energy-saving, good price, plus elegant design! It's very safe, easy to use, just 3 mins for rice and 35 mins for delicious soup that usually takes 6-8 hours cooking time for the slow cooker! I'm not afraid of last minute cook anymore even we might have unexpected guests coming for dinner!
