Great pressure cooker and so easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I was thinking about getting an Instant Pot for my RV but started reading reviews about the Cuisinart CPC-600 and saw that most people loved it. When Best Buy put it on sale, I went for it. This thing is remarkable and soooo easy to use. I can cook a complete meal in about 20 minutes that tastes delicious. Rice in 4 minutes that's moist and fluffy. It's so simple to use if you take 10 minutes to read the instructions before hand. Clean-up is a snap with really only one pot to wash. You can brown, sauté, and simmer plus cook at high or low pressure. Go get one. You'll be glad you did.

Reliable, easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Cuisinart electric pressure cooker is an easy "set and forget" way to cook. It's well constructed, and I can foresee years of trouble-free use. Two improvements I would like to see: (1) Clearer (more visible) settings on the pressure vent / pressure limit valve position. I often have it in the wrong position, and it just vents off steam and doesn't build pressure until I correct it. (2) Add a few more practical everyday recipes. The recipe book seems a bit skimpy. Or, alternatively, an online Cuisinart link to more recipes to make full use of this excellent addition to my kitchen.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have totally enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for my family with this pressure cooker. I have enjoyed it so much that I sent one to my sister who has some medical issues that requires her to eat more healthier. She and her family also love it.

Great Value, Easy to Use, Easy to Clean...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my Cuisinart 6 Quart electric pressure cooker on a deal of the day, but the regular price of $99.00 is still a great deal for such a quality pressure cooker. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, and how delicious the food taste. I have cooked several kinds of dried beans, as well as roasts, all tasted wonderful. Cleaning is so easy, I couldn't believe it. I remember my grandmother cleaning her stove top pressure cooker, and it was a chore. I recommend this product to anyone who enjoys cooking quality food, but doesn't always have the time. Enjoy :)

Great cooker for home and the road!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to use while RV'ing for extended periods, to make quick home-cooked meals that aren't grilled! Used first at home, and after making both a full fledged pot roast meal, and a cider-brined pork loin meal, my only complaint is that the lid seal seems to absorb some of the flavor and spices, even when well washed and fully dried. After three uses, it still had the first use pot roast scent. That didn't seem to impact flavor or cooking of subsequent meals though, it's just notable... So far very happy with it, for speed, cleaning, ease of use. Great item!

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here's the problem with reviews... They usually take place when someone has had the product for only a short time so they give a glowing review because it works so well. I've owned this product for about 18 months and there is something important that customers need to know. At the 18 month mark, the metal on the handle is peeling away and it's not just paint. It's sharp and can cut you if you aren't careful. Search Cuisinart Handle online and you will see others with the same problem. If that isn't bad enough, calling customer service will consume about an hour of your time. They also say avoid the hold time and submit your question online and that they will get back to you in 24 hours. Well, after three days of not hearing back, the phone rep said "no, it's 48 hours". After going through all of that, you will find out that you have to send the defective part back to them at your expense. That's right, they manufacture a defective product and in order for them to make it right, you have to spend more money. I checked the price to send it back and the least expensive method is USPS and it costs around $20. They don't actually need you to send it back mind you, they just want it so they don't have to replace the part. You have to give them the serial number and jump through all sorts of hoops just to make a warranty claim. What is someone going to do with just a lid? It's clear from my interactions with them that they pretty much just hope customers will go elsewhere. Well, I'm here to encourage you to go elsewhere BEFORE you have to deal with Cuisinart and DON'T BUY CUISINART! That warranty looks good until you realize how much it costs you to take advantage of it. I bought this on sale for not much more than it costs me to send the defective part back... and other pressure cookers go on sale here at Best Buy all the time. Do yourself a favor and opt for a better product. Research manufacturers who build better products and stand behind them rather than one who makes big promises up front and then wants you to go away once they have your money.

Great appliance for all kitchens
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this pressure cooker. It gets used most often for beans. I cook them for 40 minutes, then add salt, another 10 minutes and they're great. I can also leave them in the cooker to stay hot for hours. I also precook my ribs in them before putting in the oven and WOW, so tender and flavorful. Cooks the best vegetables. Artichokes in 8 minutes, broccoli in 4 minutes. And taste so much better than other methods of cooking them. I have more experimenting to do but I love it

Why did I wait so long?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been afraid of pressure cookers, I guess the old fashion kind did blow up a lot and steam burns you. This is a perfect no accidents and easy to use pressure cooker. It cooks everything I have tried to profection. That is why I say why did I wait so long, it keeps the house cool in the summer months and I will be using it this winter for hearty soups and stews and of course pot roasts. I really enjoy using this unit and I am not afraid of a pressure cooker any longer. What a great product.

My favor appliance!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cooker is great!! The cooker steams, saute, boils, and fries. Endless possibilities. Just go on YouTube for all the ways of cooking with electric pressure cookers. Cuisinart is a trusted brand. Easy to clean, looks nice, with good build quality. I bought it on sale, used reward points, and paid around $55. I great price for a very useful appliance. It cuts some cooking times in half when using the pressure settings. Great for meats, and veggies, soups, and pasta as well.
