Really easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for myself after Christmas just to see what all the pressure cooker hype was about. The Cuisinart is really easy to use, not a bunch of settings, and it definitely cuts cooking time, especially for frozen meats. The best part for me, though, the pot is non-stick, easy to clean and doesn't discolor like the steel pots. Highly recommend.

Works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an appliance I have not owned until now. Bought it right before st Patrick's day. Used the day we received it. Looked up a corned beef recipe, followed directions and had the BEST meal ever!!. Pressure cooker is easy to use, cooks a good meal fast with fairly easy cleanup. Paid $59 and most were almost 100$ online. Great reviews encouraged this purchase.

Dinner in less time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This pressure cooker works as well as my previous stovetop cookers without heating my kitchen. Dinner is ready quickly. So much better than a slow cooker. It takes a bit longer than stovetop pressure cookers to come up to pressure, but after using it a while, I can factor that time into my schedule. It is easy to clean.. I am pleased with the purchase.

I would buy another one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I told my friends and family to buy one. It works. It took me a couple times to figure out what meals I can do. I use it to make simple means, cut up an onion, put in beans and that's it. To me, the booklet of meals in the manual had too many ingredients and too many steps. I don't have to soak beans overnight. I pretty much put any meat and any vegetable in for about 20 minutes and it's good to go. It has low pressure for softer things like Lentils or split pea soup. Bef takes a while, still about 40 minutes for roast. It cleans easy and the shell looks like it's made to last. the pressure nozzle is a little hard to figure out, or hard to read the little same color labeling for pressure tight or pressure release. It won't beep or notify me if I Start it with the the pressure nozzle in the wrong dial, which I did once and all the water evaporated and almost burned the potatoes and meat. Easy buttons, I like having only a few choices for cooking. Good price, this was maybe $5 more than most other low priced pressure cookers. Saute works. I would buy another one if I lost mine.

Slow cooker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love the time saving we get out of the pressure cooker feature of the pressure cooker. Chicken can be cooked in less time than in an oven and the heat from cooking in an oven doesn't warm up the house. We used it for our St Patty's corn beef dinner following a recipe from the internet Cleanup was easy with the Teflon pot. The only thing that I would prefer would be a stainless pot. Instructions with the unit are ok but the best is going on you tube to clean and operate.

Great pressure cooker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this same cooker over 8 years, it's getting on in age and decided to buy a spare when it was 1/2 of what I paid 8 years ago. I love this cooker. Can't say enough good things. The only con is the small rim when water and food gets, it's a little tedious to get out from there. I wouldn't have any other pressure cooker.

New Electric Pressure Cooker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shopped around and was torn between the conventional pressure cooker or this electric one. I have to say that so far, I'm very impressed. I cooked a large boneless pork loin cut up and within 60 minutes it was as complete and falling apart. It made the BEST BBQ pulled pork I've ever made. I highly recommend this item.

another excellent product from Cuisinart
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this pressure cooker. It's so easy to use and the food comes out perfect every time. I've used it for chicken tacos, meatloaf, chicken curry, mashed potatoes. I have plans for so many more foods. I highly recommend it! In fact, I love it so much, I bought a second one so I could have two going at the same time.

cooks great... really big
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only cooked one dish so far in the pressure cooker. Not because it did not do a good job ; it did a great job. Loved the chicken dish I cooked in it. It is so large... hard for an elderly women to handle. I would recommend to anyone who has room for anything so large and can handle it.

Time Saver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second one I bought as a gift and will soon be buying a third to gift as well. Love how pressure cookers turn out super tender meat, gives you a quick batch of potatoes for salad or mashed, cooks ribs so tender they fall off the bone. Any one I've given this to has absolutely loved it.
