Horribly loud & stopped working after 2 years

The MOST annoying thing about the design is the deafening “ding” when the timers end. I have babies and this will wake them up from across the house (not to mention disturb anyone regardless of age), so no after-hours or nap-time cooking (or snacking!) I also didn’t like how the basket requires a shelf under it. Seems unnecessarily messy- just another awkward item to wash. I won’t be buying it again.
