It does take a little long for each batch to get done and that is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Nonstick properties are good and the alerts are audible.

The audio to alert you when the iron is hot enough and when the waffle is done is a great feature. Not sure the pancake plates close tight enough for golden pancakes on the outsides, but its a nice addition.
