This coffee maker is nothing short of amazing. Your first cup of coffee is always the best. Set your karaf temp and paired with the right grind, you will remember why you started drinking coffee in the first place. I will love this machine until the day I die. And if I play my cards right, maintain everything and keep up with cleaning, I will have it that long. Make no mistake about it, for the money, it's the best you will ever find. And also notice on television shows, movies, etc. you will start to notice it everywhere! Try for yourself, and realize that this is by far the best cup of coffee you will ever have in the comfort of your own home. -Ash

I purchased this because it came up as one of the deal of the day items. It usually sells for 89 or 99 dollars in other stores. This is a repeat purchase of this item because it works so well. It makes a great cup of coffee and is easy to use.

The way the Cruisinart DCC-1200 is designed I think is sleek and fashionable it's a complement to any kitchen... I find that this coffeemaker brews a very flavorful cup of coffee ,brews it fast and with bold flavor. I also like The idea of the automatic timer .... I set the timer before I go to sleep in the evening and I have a delicious hot cup of coffee waiting for me when I wake up in the morning. It's easy to use and it's easy to clean, The only drawback I feel is that the coffee could be a little hotter.

This is my third time with this coffee maker. The last one lasted over 8 years which is sensational. Daily use and some times several pots per day. This little machine just works for me and I just couldn't do without it. There is not much I would even change on it if I had that opportunity. I love that friendly beep-beep in the early morning. I would be sick if they ever discontinued making this and this is the second one that I have bought from BB. I would highly recommend this maker to family and friends.

I have bought and worn out three of these units over the last 18 years. I love how easy they are to use. I didn't replace them because they went bad I just gave my old one to someone and would grab a new one to get a fresh unit. The first one I bought is still working for the person I gave it to. When you get them on sale for $67.00 its a steal. They last forever and they are easy to clean.

We bought our first Cuisinart Brew Central 4 years ago because it had an adjustable warmer plate setting. This brewer makes great coffee and keeps it hot. The off/on switch was intermittent so we replaced the unit. We use this every day and when company comes, multiple times each day. Probably used the original 1200+ times and only did basic cleaning about every 6 weeks. Definitely worth the money.

I love that this machine makes delicious coffee and keeps it hot. It is easy to use and includes a convenient setting for 1-4 cups (which keeps smaller quantities hot). I don't love the lack of a hinged top on the carafe. I cannot open it to fill or clean it. Also, the machine has no measuring guides on the exterior. They're on the inside of the reservoir. Fortunately, the carafe does have clearly marked measuring lines. Overall, it's great looking, brews quickly, and makes terrific coffee. I'd recommend it.

As usual, this coffee maker is the gold standard in mainstream coffee makers. You can always count on it. I have had other super duper automatic coffee makers with all the bells and whistles I thought I needed, and they all seem to have short life spans....so I have returned to what I know works.

Purchased this cuisinart 1200 as a replacement , the old one was still working , but over 6 yrs old of daily use and the heat plate would not keep the coffee hot. This coffee maker makes great coffee, easy to use, and very durable. Nothing fancy , but great coffee

Simple to use, and works really well. My wife and kids are coffee drinkers, and they love this machine. Good price point as well. Seems to be lasting, so that makes it a great value.

Ten years ago I bought my first Cuisinart coffee maker. It last me 7 years and made a great cup of coffee. I finally had to get rid of it because of hard water build up. Not the coffee makers fault. I should have cleaned it more often, but I am lazy. I replaced it with another, cheaper brand. I can't remember what it was. That one last about a year and a half. Again, hard water got the best of it. It took about 30 minutes to brew a pot of OK coffee. And the warmer a almost immediately started flaking off the paint. Then my family bought me a Mr Coffee for Christmas. No hard water problems, but constantly got backed up and over flowed. I blame the flat bottom filter. Then the warming stopped heating before it was even a year old. Santa bought me this new Cuisinart for Christmas and I am finally having a great cup of coffee again. So happy with it.

I brew one to two pots of coffee every day of the year. The coffee from this machine tastes better than any other machine I've ever used. This is my second one. The first one lasted 8 years. Way to go, Cuisinart!

Very pleased with my purchase. This coffee maker brews great tasting coffee in a fast amount of time. The features are easy to use like setting up the timer to start brewing so you can have a fresh cup of coffee ready when you wake up.

I was looking for an easy-to-use, counter-top coffeemaker that makes consistent, good tasting coffee. This one seems to meet my expectations. Good tasting, looks nice. Wish it was a little easy to use. The controls are small and not too easy to read. But I'm satisfied.

My wife was hesitant to buy another coffee maker thinking that all coffee makes are identical. Well, they are not and even she says this one is the best. We will probably buy another one for our primary home. The maker keeps the coffee hot, something none of our other makers do -- in the past we have to microwave the coffee to satisfy my wife -- no more. And the coffee tastes better.

Reliable, keeps my coffee hot just like I like! Easy to use and clean, love the sound it makes when coffee is done and the shut off indicator noise. A great coffee machine at a great price!

We had this model coffee maker for over ten years and never had a Problem with it. It was used a lot and made great tasting coffee. Easy to keep clean and fit nicely into our stainless steel kitchen.
