Great cup of Joe

We tried the Hamilton Beach but it was so Noisy so we returned it. Black Friday I began to search for a CUISINART and behold BB had the unit we wanted and for a great price.

So far this is working fine (day 3). Our only complaint is that the coffee carafe lid does not seem to flip open to fill. it has to be removed and it is not easy to get a grip on it.

There were several notable negative aspects to this coffee center. First...the one that I was willing to accept because I knew going in...it has two separate water tanks...one for the coffee pot and another for the single brew dispenser... I was willing to work with that issue. However, the other issue wasn't acceptable to me... The tank for the single brew dispenser leaked. I originally thought it was happening when I pulled the center out from under the cabinet to to remove and fill the single serve tank or fill the coffee pot reservoir. However, after some controlled testing, I am certain the seal between the single serve tank and the center does not seal completely and water to drains onto the counter. That was an issue I considered unacceptable...so I returned it.
