It has a very small container for water, as it is always thrown away, I do not recommend it

Leaks water from inside-bottom from the moment I started the machine.

Horrible! It quit working yesterday. Barely had it 9 months

When it’s pouring the coffee it splashes everywhere and I think it shouldn’t do that

Awful. Just awful. Acidic taste. Poorly made. Waste of money.

I bought this for my husband and he used it just about every day until last week when it kicked the bucket. I thought I had bought more than a 2 year warranty, but unfortunately I did not. I would love to get it fixed but it probably would cost as much as i paid for it. Overall it a great coffee maker.

I realized that my cheapie lil drip coffee maker was putting out sub-par coffee. And my k-cup brewer was a heap of junk. I decided it was time for an upgrade. I didn't know that these 2 in 1 makers existed! I went to Best Buy and found this Cuisinart Coffee Center. I searched online for reviews and found that it had consistently good reviews. I found one on Amazon for less, but BB price matched! YAY! So I was able to go home with it right away, I LOVE THE COFFEE from this machine!!! Tastes so much better than what I was used to drinking! Once I learned how to program it, it was so easy to use. And I love that there are filters for the water (which is hard where I live). I go to bed at night looking forward to my morning treat.

I love that I can make a single cup of coffee and when we have company I can make a pot of coffee for our guest.

Love this coffee pot. Easy to program and the convenience of two pots in one has really improved the difference in usable space in my kitchen.

This is our second time purchasing the same coffee system. They are not identical as we had expected The insert was changed and does not allow all Kcups. It will not puncture some. Very frustrating. For the cups it will puncture, it works fine. Would recommend a disclaimer and stating which Kcups work with this unit.

I purchased this coffee maker about a year ago. I wanted to see how good the product is before writing a review. Will never buy a coffee maker from this company again. After 6 months noticed it would leak when making coffee. I spend more time cleaning up a mess than enjoying my coffee. Every time i set the clock it's fine until i make a cup of coffee, the time goes off, i give up trying to reset. I tried unplugging the coffee maker as recommended by the company and it still does the same thing. And yes I followed all the troubleshooting recommendations from the company.

This coffee maker has lived up to its reputation already! It makes a great cup of coffee, is versatile, and easy to use.

This coffee pot literally died on me the Last day of the three year manufacture warranty. Crazy

Great unit. Did more than I expected. Only thing and maybe it’s a user error, but seems you gotta leave the power on for brew timer. I’m not a fan of leaving it on all night.

I like the combination of the single / K-cup and regular coffeemaker layout. I drink regular coffee, my wife drinks tea or decaf, so this coffeemaker appears to be a good solution. It is however very tricky to get the K-cup part of the machine working without the K-cup spilling its contents all over the machine. I think we have that finally figured out, after all, I am a German engineer. The coffee pot does not have a hinged lid, which I expect from a $200 machine. Filling the machine is not easy, since the water fill opening for regular coffee is in the back, and pretty small. The lid of the coffee filter always has condensation on the inside, and if you open the lid, this condensation drips down the back of the coffeemaker onto the counter. The valve to shut the filter drip, when you want to get a cup before the brew cycle completely ends, is also leaky. When you pull the pot while the machine is brewing, or when you spill a little water in the filter when filling the machine, it will spill on the heating platter. So, there are just lots of little inconveniences, it is a disappointment to us every morning.

Overall I really like this coffee maker. I am on my second machine in 4 years. The first one developed a leak after 18 months so I had to replace. The only real design flaw is it is not easy fill the drip coffee water reservoir. (Not a deal breaker). The second one had a feature change--you can no longer turn off the alarm sounds (coffee complete and auto off) which you could do. (It is loud!) The auto-on feature of my current machine has stopped working. Have tried several power-on and off, unplug, etc but no luck. So guess I have to get another one.

I like how this is very simple to use. My wife for the first time got to make a full pot of coffee and we made me a small cup of tee. Great

Not overwhelming. We like the reduced counter space it needs. Surprised that the K-cup side is better than the carafe side. The K-cup side will take taller mugs than a Keurig brand machine. That's the main benefit. The carafe side issues IMHO: 1) The reservoir lid being hinged at the back, and only lifting 90 degrees, means that filling the reservoir is a bit awkward. The top of the carafe hits the lid before all the water can be poured out. 2) The filter basket has an alignment tab but, unlike other Cuisinarts we've had, if the basket is misaligned (and it's not obvious when it is), the lid will still close and the user is none the wiser. The misalignment will cause the water to back up and not drain properly into the carafe when brewing. What coffee manages to go into the carafe is muddy with coffee grounds. 3) Even when properly aligned, the basket must be SNAPPED completely down into place, unlike any other carafe style machine I've ever encountered, or again one gets water backup and muddy coffee. 4) Despite being a 12-cup carafe, the most we can get is about 8 or 9 cups (six standard 1/8 cup coffee measures of whole beans, freshly ground each time) without the filter overflowing and, yet again, making muddy coffee. Giving Cuisinart the benefit of the doubt, this may be the result of its cone-shaped filters vice basket-shaped.
