    Horrible experience. The listed was for a new machine but I received a pre-owned one. Not just any pre owned. This appears to have been used for at least a year. It had white paint marks all over, scratches, the basket smelled horrible, and the filter had old coffee and mold growing. To make matters worse, this was a gift. I contacted Best Buy and they did absolutely nothing other than to say I can return it. The only thing worse than the customer service was the experience and embarrassment from giving this as a gift.

    I was really excited when I saw this product, but I wish I would have waited for the next incarnation. Its hard to pour the water into the container, and I have had pods explode when using the single-serve function which makes a big mess. Also, I wish it had a metal carafe.

    I bought in 2019. It worked well for about a year. Then the k cup side started leaking ( the tank ). My counter was constantly soaked so I removed it and just used the coffee maker side for the next year. It’s 2021 and the coffee maker is not working well anymore. Very watery coffee. Overall it makes great coffee when it works but it is NOT worth 200. It’s beautiful but the tank leaked within the first year. That’s unacceptable.

    The single serve side stopped working correctly after two months and shot coffee all over the counter. Every morning we had a mess to clean up. After a year the pot stopped keeping coffee warm. This was definitely a waste of money.

    Gave this as a xmas gift to my husband in 2018. We have really loved being able to brew a pot or cup from the same machine. Price was a lot more than I would normally have spent on a coffee maker. Here we are 3 years later and of course 1 month after the extended warranty expires and it is making only WARM coffee. Expected alot more given the price tag and the Cuisinart name.

    The single cup side is the issue I have. I’ve tried all different pods, I’ve made sure the white arrows line up, I’ve cleaned it to make sure there were no clogs and it still overflows the coffee grinds. It comes out the top and the bottom filling my cup full of grinds and getting all over my counter. I’ve tried four separate brands of k cups and they still explode.

    I love this coffee pot when its working properly. After about 2 months the water tank for the k cup side leaks out all the water. I've had 3 full replacements and 1 new tank. At least customer service is awesome

    The single cup side leaks all over the counter. The seal goes bad after a few months. Cuisinart sent me another water reservoir but that only lasted a few months too. Poor design that does not seal properly.

    Don't bother. It leaks. Cuisinart knows its a problem, has no solution and doesnt care. Started leaking 2 weeks after purchasing. When I say it leaks, the whole reservior leaks out.

    Last year around October I purchased the Coffee Center. From day one it leaked and the k-cup side spurted water and/or coffee all over the place. Plus, the k-cups would explode causing a huge mess that was very hard to clean up. Since I purchased this unit at Penney's I was able to return it. I was willing to give it a second chance even though many reviews showed that many people were having the same issue as me. I purchased it again through Best Buy since they had it on sale. This unit even though it leaked, I was not having the same issues with the k-cup side. So I was willing to live with the leak. Well, only a few days past the return period with Best Buy this unit started having problems with the K-cup side. I have had this coffeemaker just over 2 months. I called Cuisinart and was told that not only do I need to pay $10 to have the new one sent to me. I have to incur the cost of returning the defective one to them. This is not a small item and that cost would be pretty expensive. It is not like I have had this coffeemaker for a year or more. No I have it for 2 months. Furthermore, they are still selling a defective coffeemaker. They don't seem to stand behind the products they sell by covering the cost of replacing faulty items. Not unless the state requires you to do so. Cuisinart just doesn’t seem to think they should do the right thing. I bought Cuisinart because I thought they were a well-respected company. I will think twice before I ever purchase Cuisinart again. What is even worse is I have not other option but to get the same exact thing that has not proven to be faulty twice.

    Leaking already

    I read a few reviews that mentioned the unit leaking water, but I thought it was a rare occurrence and so I took a chance. My mistake. It’s 45 days since I purchased this coffee maker and it has begun to leak water - so badly it almost ruined my floors. What’s worse is that Beat Buy will not allow me to return the unit because it’s been longer than 30 days, so now I must rely on Cuisinart to fix the problem. And according to their warranty guidelines first you have to send them $10 for shipping! Poor product and poor product service. Should have listened to the earlier reviews.

    I am on my third replacement of this unit...the coffee pot side works fine however the K cup side does not. It will work fine a few times and then the next time K cups explode and grains are a mess!! I can find no reason this is happening nor can Cuisinart give me one. The return is a hassle because of the shipping. When you call customer service you are told they are experiencing a high number of calls and tell you you can email them. They state they will answer within 24 hours but this isn’t true either. I have not used the K cup side yet on this third replacement but since nothing has been improved or updated I don’t have much confidence in it. I would like to return it and replace with a dependable unit but customer service tells me I cannot do this.

    Sorry I have tried to like this coffee maker because it seemed to be the best of both worlds.. But the one cup side leaks if you don't reinstall the container Perfectly and it's really undersized The drip side is hard to fill For the price get a Mr Coffee and a Keurig..

    The single serve side never worked well and now stopped working. The 12 cup pot is great keeps coffee hot and excellent brew. I’m annoyed because now I need new maker bc I can’t use single serve side.

    I was looking for an all in one unit . I had to return it after set up since the single side water storage leaks !!!! I do agree that the area to fill the water storage on pot brew side is awkwardly narrow .

    I love Cuisinart and had the Hamilton Beach version of this and loved it. This pot is cheaply mad and the coffee taste horrible for whatever reason. It leaks as others have said. I am hoping Best Buy is going to stand by the product and if not Cuisinart will. I don't want a replacement. I should have kept my Hamilton Beach. I thought I was upgrading and this is not. Guess this is why I only paid 99.99. Others have loved it and that is great. My experience has been horrible. I normally do not write such a negative review, but morning coffee is important.
