Vesuvius Hot Water Maker is TOO Noisy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The carafe on our ancient drip coffee maker 'bit the dust'. As our weekday coffee machine is the wonderful Philips Senseo, we purchased this primarily for weekends (when we drink several cups of coffee) and hot water for tea. The coffee maker works as it should, but the hot water maker is TOO noisy, possibly defective. We didn't discover this until slightly outside the return window. Not happy.

Super convenient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at a lot of machines and read many, many reviews. I could not be more pleased with my Cuisinart combination coffee maker. It makes great coffee (12 cups) and the carafe can be removed while brewing to pour a quick cup. I especially like the hot water dispenser. I have used it to make cups of cocoa, soup, instant coffee bags, as well as instant oatmeal and grits. You can brew coffee and prepare your breakfast food at the same time. I have had no issues. The water comes out hot, and the machine is easy to clean.

For true coffee drinkers only
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The coffee is great but the hot water comes out tasting like plastic. Not sure if this is the way it is so I will be exchanging it for another to see.

Awesome Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes a great pot of coffee and seems to be very quick about it. Lots of different settings to include how hot you like to keep your coffee. Has a auto timer so you'll never have a pot of burnt coffee, because the machine will turn itself off. You hear 5 beeps when it done, and 3 beeps when the heating plate goes off. Haven't really used the hot water side much, but my only concern is that the water could go stale. There is a convenient drain plug so you can drain the water out. Comes with water filters which is a really nice bonus.

Coffee is life
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will go ahead and say that the simplest/cheapest coffee makers are the best. I’m talking about the $9 ones. But we wanted to upgrade our coffee station because TikTok told us to do so. This coffee machine does the job. The 1-4 cups button just heats up the water more. I wanted to put this here because tons of people are confused about it. The hot water feature is nice. I wish someone invented a water gauge that was visible in the front.

Coffee or Tea?
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new Cuisinart! I had an older model that was only a coffeemaker, but I decided to get this model because my mother drinks tea and not coffee. It's been a huge hit with both her and I, since I can program and setup my coffee the night before so it's ready for me when I come down in the morning. My mother can immediately get her tea brewing by the cup first thing in the morning.

Excellent product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best "coffee pot" that I have ever owned. I love that I can pull out the pot and pour a cup before it has finished brewing...It signals when it finishes brewing....and I can set the temp of the warmer plate under the pot. I haven't tried the side "brewer" yet but I think that will be fantastic for a cup of tea occasionally. Only downside is the cost of the replacement water filters--never had a maker with them so that was a bit of a shock,

Good coffee maker and hot water dispenser
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good coffee maker. It comes with metal screen filter and a hot water dispenser. There are 2 things I don't particularly like, but definitely not a deal breaker. 1. Reservoir for hot water dispenser is a little small. I have to remember to add water after a couple cups of tea. But to be fair, I use large tea cups. 2. Opening for the reservoir on the coffee maker side is small. You just need to have a good aim and steady hand when you try add water. But again, not a big issue.
