The hot water dispenser leaked and made quit a mess in my RV. I have had one of these units before and had minor problems. I have one at home and the heater on the hot water side will not turn off automatically when temp is reached. Would not recommend at all.

I've had this less than 2 months and the hot water side will not heat. Now I have to figure out what to do as far as return as I live more then 2 hr from the nearest Best Buy.

Bought this coffee maker. Ran vinegar thru it several times but still tasted like plastic. Broke me out in hives for 2 1/2 weeks before I finally realized it was from drinking my coffee out of my new coffee maker. Returned it immediately! Will never purchase a cuisinart brand ever again!

Worked great until 3 days after warranty. Then hot pot started turning off automatically and add water light flashes when full of water.

As received the glass of the clock was cracked causing the clock to be fogged with water from the perking process. Additionally, the clock is small and not easy to read.

I did not like the fact that the lid does not flip up easy on the carafe, you have to pry it off - I returned it for this reason

The auto shutoff is not working so you need to watched out to make sure it will not overview.

I've had this coffee maker for about 2 months now and here is my opinion about it. It makes the best tasting coffee around! The 1-4 cups feature does seem to make a difference for the better. We use our coffee maker everyday, sometimes twice a day, but still haven't had to worry about the cleaning light. The controls took a few minutes to figure out but after we did, I find them rather intuitive and simple to work. I love the temp setting for the pot warmer too. My only complaint is that when leaving the hot water dispenser on, the heater seems to need to kick in too frequently. This has me concerned that it is wasting a lot of electricity so we don't leave it on all the time like I had hoped we could. Maybe it needs a better insulation system for the hot water dispenser side? Pouring water in the coffee maker side takes some getting used to but after a month or so I think I have the hang of it and it isn't too much trouble, even though it's not as simple as it should be. Ultimately, I would say this is the best coffee maker I've ever had, having gone through 10 or so different kinds over the last 15 years.

My wife likes very strong coffee, me not so much. So, it solves the problem by having the hot water available right there. Plus, we both use it for instant oatmeal and grits (haven't tried tea yet, but will). We don't need or use lots of features, but chose it for the hot water feature and it works great for us. Tastes great, too!

I will say that this maker does make some good coffee. However, in the morning, before my coffee, I do not want to be annoyed. The area to pour the fresh water into for the coffee section is very small and awkward to get to. Also, the loud annoying beeps at the end of the brew are loud and obnoxious. They're the same beeps a truck makes when backing up. They do not have an option to disable these annoying beeps. If you can get past these two flaws, then by all means, enjoy your coffee. The hot water section is ok. Pours extremely slow, but ok.

Makes great coffee. Easy to program and offers on demand hot water. The water heater runs pretty often though and is a little noisey (think your electric kettle near the boiling point.) Some better insulation of the water compartment would dull the noise and keep the water hot longer so this wouldn't need to run so often. Otherwise, a great cofee machine.

I got this model because my old Bunn coffee maker began leaking. I researched a number of models. Although this did not get the highest ratings, it got very good ones. I like the hot water feature too, as I drink tea in the afternoon and at night. Very easy to set up and use. Programming was a breeze. I love the fact that it has a permanent filter, so don't have to worry about running out. The coffee takes roughly 8 minutes for 7 cups. Not bad. Especially if you set the program to have it ready for you upon waking. My only complaint, and it is not a huge one is the taste is not as great as with the Bunn. Don't get me wrong, the coffee tastes very good, but the Bunn tasted better. This has way more features and a timer, which the Bunn did not (hard to believe, I know). Overall very happy with this-and will keep it.

This coffeemaker provides a great addition for those of us who prefer tea to coffee. The hot water dispenser holds ample water and heats up pretty quickly. There's a switch to lock it off so if there are children in the house, that is a safety measure that matters. My husband is very happy with the coffee brewing side as well. It has the timers and other settings to help make and keep the coffee exactly as he likes it.

Had one like this before for 4-years, but it stopped working. Like this NEW coffee maker which have only had about 1-week, except "right out of box" digital clock did not luminate. Everything else works okay. My husband is only able to use his right handed due to stroke & likes being able to use hot water dispenser. Called factory & they want $10.00 to return unit for repair, then $35.00 to ship me a "refurbed" one. I feel I should be able to return it to Best Buy for one that has ALL working components.

Worked fine for 3.5 years before it stopped brewing. The hot water system was useless because of the small amount of water that was heated. Maybe enough for a small cup of tea. It took just as long to heat the water as it would in a tea kettle. We never used it. There are coffee makers of the same quality at a lower price point, so I don't recommend this one model.

this coffee maker is annoying to operate with all of the design flaws it has. filling it is terrible: on most makers you fill the carafe with water and transfer it into the machine, very difficult with this maker. first off the lid on the carafe is not hinged so you have to stick your finger into the small spout to flip the lid off in order to fill the carafe, fine if you have tiny fingers like me but not everyone does. Then the place to pour the water in is small, pie-shaped and situated at the back which makes it difficult to not slop water everywhere, plus you can't get all of the water poured in because the carafe hits the flip up access lid. I have taken to dragging the thing as close as I can to the sink and using my kitchen sprayer to fill it. Nowhere in the reviews did I see that it uses cone filters which are 3 times more expensive and the filter basket is not tall enough to make the handle on it useful at all when dumping grounds because you can't get a hold of it. The clock display is cheesy and hard to see, I understand that it is more for the automatic brew feature but still, it's hard to set it when it's hard to see it. The thing beeps several times after it's done brewing which defeats part of the purpose of auto-brew since it acts like an alarm clock. There is no way to by-pass the auto shut-off for people who drink coffee all day long so you have to keep turning it back on to keep the coffee hot which encourages more annoying beeping. I have not found a purpose for the "auto off" button and the carafe is hard to remove and re-set as it has to be tipped down when setting it back onto the warmer. This coffee maker is not a good choice for the elderly (like my husband) or someone with parkinson's (like me) as it is just too difficult to use. I gave it 1 star only because I couldn't give it none but on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a -15. Should have spent my money on another Bunn instead.

I bought this coffee maker and water heater for my mom for mother's day. She loves the hot water feature on it. She drinks coffee on occasion but prefers hot teas. She loves that she can have hot water ready in almost no time all. She also likes to use the hot water feature for oatmeal in the mornings.

My last Cuisinart coffe pot died after seven years . This one turns out the same great coffee just like the last one. This time I got the one with the hot water dispenser and so far so good .They are pricey but before I bought a Cuisinart all my coffee pots lasted about a year . I purchase alot of the Cuisinart line of products based on their quality , this is no different . I have had it about three months now so here's hoping for for a few years of great coffee !
