I was excited to get this and have not been impressed so far. It works. I learned you can't just store the container in the freezer until you want to make ice cream, because the bottom bubbles which makes the lid not be able ti stay closed. To me, this is not convenient because I don't always know a couple of hours ahead of time that I am going to have time to make some ice cream. Also, the recepies that come with it haven't been very good. I am hoping I can wirk out some better recipes on my own.

This was purchased as a gift for my children. They have used it several time to make homemade ice cream which has turned out to be very good.

I love this machine! The recipe book has some delicious recipes too. I've made mascarpone and fig gelato and pineapple sorbet and both were impressive. My only complaint would be that I wish that I would've bought a larger machine. "2 Quart" doesn't seem like that much sorbet after it's finished mixing.

This is the best ice cream maker hands down! Not needing ice and rock salt makes everything very convenient. It even comes with a whole bunch of great recipes in the instruction book. I know it sounds strange, but the mascarpone and fig gelato might just be the best thing I've ever eaten.
