This is a good, solid can opener. It works well and is attractive in my kitchen. It hugs the counter, and is tall enough for most larger cans.

This can opener works great. It is replacing a Cuisinart opener that quit working. I hope this one lasts longer than the previous one.

Last time I used it, the can I had just opened dropped to the counter instead of staying on the opener. I hope that isn't what is going to happen again.

when the can opener is finished the magnet hold the can in place and the top that has been cut off. it does not drop the can once its finished. it also stop and cut itself off.
