expected more from cuisenart terrible features does not perform as advertised i am surprised

Stopped working after 29 days .... Best Buy was kind enough to issue me a refund .... thank you Best Buy.

This is the 3er machine under warranty. Very bad design.

Save your money this worried maybe twice and now everyone you use it it makes this horrible sound. I’m still using it because I paid a lot of money for it

We bought this at a "big box" store because of the price and our toaster and small convection oven had died. Well it worked great and then about a week after the warranty expired the main control knob/button stopped functioning on certain settings like bake, air fry, toast, etc... Once that started happening it completely became useless and now we cant even select anything other than roast and toast. We are now in the market for something that actually functions like it should.

So far we love it after about a month. We use our big oven a lot less and toast and toasted sandwiches are so good - the bread is toasted all the way through and not just in the edges. Meat and veggies and pizza turn out evenly cooked with a little crispness that we didn’t get with a regular toaster oven.

THIS Cuisinart Air Fryer is difficult to clean. The video is ridiculous… it shows a woman cleaning a brand new air fryer. Show me how to clean a DIRTY air fryer. Warranty is for 3 yrs… the one I bought is just over 3 yrs and the Plug got hot and blew the circuit. Cuisinart no longer makes Air Fryers … wonder why… duh! Too many problems… they should have recalled them… instead…. Take your money and run. This has ruined Cuisinart for me. Terrible business practice.

I bought my first Cuisinart Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven in the Spring of 2021. By September (about six months later), the dial had stopped working, so I called Cuisinart Customer Service for a replacement. They were very nice about replacing the unit and I was hopeful that the replacement would work better than the first one. It didn't. Here are the problems I have had with both ovens. 1. Poor temperature control: The unit runs VERY hot. Air frying on the top rack (as the instructions state) at the recommended temperatures (again, per the instructions) for the recommended time renders dry, burnt, inedible food. Adjusting the temperature/time isn't reliable, as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't FOR THE SAME FOOD ITEMS. 2. Now it doesn't even make toast reliably. One side is dark, the other is light. 3. The "basket" is a shallow little thing and hard to take out and give your your fries a "shake". 4. It takes FOREVER to preheat. 5. It takes up WAY too much space on a countertop for something that works so poorly. I really did want to love this appliance, but I don't. Right now I'm wrestling between buying a regular toaster and an "old fashioned" bucket-type air fryer and taking this to the metal recycle at my local dump. But it was way too expensive to just toss. So, now I'm out the $$$ AND hate the appliance. MY RECOMMENDATION: do not buy.

I purchased this model one year ago I had to replace it THREE TIMES. By the fourth time, I contacted Cuisinart for a refund, that they reluctantly gave. There is a manufacturing defect. The motor begins to make an obnoxious noise after about 3-4 months use. There are many other customers that have said the same thing. Cuisinart just continues to replace it, when they should be recalling the product.

Terrible. Food either over-cooks or under-cooks. The display and dial are not intuitive at all. The air-fry has burned our bacon, fish sticks, whatever we've tried to fry. We've adjusted the time and then nothing gets cooked fully. Tried busciuts, but they didn't rise and had to pull them out after just a few minutes because the tops burned. This thing is awful. Maybe I just don't understand how to use an air-fryer - but regardless, we are taking it back.
