Noisy unit, defective motor.

Called Cuisinart, was advised to return this unit due to the defective motor, and to get a different batch of manufacture. Not happy to do so , but had to return, which was very easy with BestBuy. Ended up in gettng a different model, still Cuisinart, and it seems to work just normal. Not noisy like this one, which was returned.
